For those who like information about Dimas' songs: The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The song was originally performed in 1998 and the band's name is A'Studio (Russian-based Kazakhstani pop music group, "Alma-Ata Studio", city of Almaty). Great reaction. I think you should check Dimash signing the french song SOS. However if you wish to hear something in english i recommend you listen to his cover of Lionel Richie's song called Hello or his cover of Eric Carmen's song All By My Self.
Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert, during a live performance in 2017. It is his now-famous D8. He did this in front of approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. The song is called “Unforgettable Day”, a song Dimash wrote himself. During the performance, he made certain to erases any doubt that this was indeed anything other than a true live performance.
Dimash not only hit a D8; he did a glissando and held it for ~5 seconds, even adding vibrato to it.
The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest note ever produced by a male as an E8. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts.
Dimash has sung many whistle notes in the 7th & 8th octave in other live performances, but the above is his highest note to date. Because of his incredible range, over six octaves, and his vocal flexibility, he is able to make the impossible look easy. Dimash is not only considered by many to be the best singer in the world, but he is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch he will always surprise you with something new.
Dimash is also a genuinely good person with a beautiful soul. Dimash and his father quietly donated all the profits from the 2017 concert to a local Hospital and an Old Age People's Home. Dimash has also donated over 5 tons of food to people in need during the Coronavirus Pandemic without any fanfare. It is only when the media gets a hold of the story that Dimash is forced into the spotlight.

No one, and I mean no kne on earth can sing like Dimash. Need to combine at least 4 GREAT VOCALISTS with different ranges to be able to come close (come close ya.....not as good as him because Dimash is more than just about wide ranges).
Once in a while when we need it, the creator will send an angel to remind us all that he is real.

If you enjoy singers with amazing vocal ranges you should really check out Morissette Amon if you haven't already. Maybe start with her singing "Akin Ka Na Lang" on the Wish 107.5 Bus (a portable radio station). Although a lot of her songs are in English this one is not so make sure to turn on closed captions so you get the full effect of the song. It's pretty amazing... especially seeing she is singing sitting down... like what? lol

Our Dimash will be 27 this summer. He began his formal vocal education at 5 years of age. Their fireplace mantel is covered in awards he won as a little boy. Both parents have been popular singers in Kazakhstan for years. Dimash plays Dombra, the instrument of Kazakhstan, piano which he bagan at 3, drums, guitar and several other instruments. He has many degrees from his musical and classical music education as well as compositional education and degree.. He can sing any type of music. He is a deep thinker and has a marvelous sense of humor. He is very active in specific charities and it just goes on and on. He adores children. You already have mentioned his humility. He is one grade A human being, and an amazing example for so many. He believes that it is an insult to one's skill if one is not real or humble as a human being throughout their fame. His family is everything to him. They all live together as is tradition in their country. Grandparents, parents, brother, sister and any wives or husbands that may eventually come along. He will have to find a good Kazahk girl who will be able to accept what Dimash will expect of his wife. This includes staying with the family while he tours. I wish him all that his wondrous heart desires! Enjoy Dimash! He is addicting! LOL
