There was a meme on my team who was worse than Todd. He never played before this season. He air-balled most of his layups. He couldn't dribble, he couldn't pass, got called for 3 in the key almost every possession.
5 seconds left. Last game of the season. He hasn't scored all season. Their team has the ball. they pass it in, and the guy just swats it to the ground at half court, runs while barely dribbling the ball, jumps into someone and gets a foul.
First free throw.. doesn't even make it half way to the basket, goes more up than out.
Both teams agree if he makes this next free throw we win. Before the 2nd free throw, I talk to him. I tell him to throw the ball as hard as he can. He did I 1-handed '"baseball pass" formed shot, and banks in the free-throw.
We never saw him again after that game.
