- Germany RIGHT NOW! Extreme Winter Storm and Massive Snowfall in Munich, Germany
Munich, Germany - Munich experienced a moderate snowfall on Saturday, December 2, 2023, which caused some disruption to transport and sports events. Some flights and trains were cancelled, some ski lifts were closed and a football match was postponed as the city dealt with the snow.
#germany #munich #snow #snowfall
The snow can big a big PAIN but I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the first clip is definetely not in Germany... It was filmed in Japan couple of years ago. I've seen it many years back on RUclips.
Yeah, some of the houses (as well as the dialogue) are in the U.S.
They always get caught out in their lies. Why do they do it? It was like when all the videos went out early part of this year about London they were months behind with all the footage they used, but when you need to bs about climate boiling now it's not at all surprising. From sharon
@@calvinsaxon5822 The first sliding cars scene for sure, while the second is in England!
It's the mainstream media that infiltrates RUclips with lies and misinformation..
Wow, I want to feel the cold snow.❤
wonderful...germans are having so much fun
Schön herrlich
Ja echt
Ich mag schnee😅
Keep all of that snow over there!
I am now in Germany right now it's great in snow
I would love to be there.
Yes snowfalls can be extreme and they do happen from time to time. This is why people should use winter tyres to avoid sliding into trees like noobs
Oh my! So many places dealing with this

It's not real look at all the comments. People are commenting what they know. From sharon.
I'm a new subscriber to your Channel 💚 Thanks for sharing ! ... Virginia 🇺🇲
Now that’s a real snow storm 🇺🇸👍👍
Why people insist on driving when it's lik3 their is beyond me, four wheel drive doesn't mean invincible, there is nothing that will go in ice, maybe a military tank but that's about it.
It's ''beyond you'' that people have to drive to work, the grocery store, etc.???? Ooookay.
because some people still have to get to work, and when all public transport and all rail service are cancelled you can neither take the bus nor train to get there
oh my god. That much snow?😅
I love snow
It's winter in Germany and it's snowing from time to time. Nothing extreme!.
Estamos en otoño.
actually it got rather rare in many areas across the country ... and quite a few places had record high snow levels - breaking a record definetly is extreme
Bruh, it's like +10c in Europe right now, Xmas and New year with no snow
That much snow is scary . Possibly flash floods.

Gotta send Luke from Outdoor Boys there to show them how to survive. ;)
❤
Me watching from kashmir,as there is no snowfall here yet.
Missing snowfall.
Returning from service in FRG I told people in southern USA that Germans knew how to drive in snow. Well this just proved me wrong.

Stay off the road unless it's an emergency 🤠
getting to works isn't an emergency, still some people have to go there
What? Germany??? 😂😂😂 We have no snow and +10°C right now...
Mưa tuyết rét quá
OMG... looks like they never seen snow before. That is normal day in Finland😂 .. even airport was open those days in storm.
I am genuinely interested, as I live in a completely opposite weather pattern in the Southern Hemisphere? Considering snow in the NH was bad last year and there are predictions it will get progressively worse moving forward and lasting for far too many years into the future of a Mini Ice-age?
Will the NH survive with out fossil fuel heating? What will be your alternative to fossil fuel, do you think EU Governments will copitulate, restoring fossil fuel for heating? Will the people demand legal retribution against Politicians at all levels for excessive human deaths from freezing to desth in their homes? How do Governments protect homeless people from no heating or food distribution, during the NH winters?
How bad does it need to be before everything comes to a standstill? Everyone forced to stay at home! How do you manage sewage issues if utilities aren't operating normally? Do you get Snow Season Warnings, to stock up on alternative heating sources, extra emergency foods and personal hygiene supplies and medications on hand etc? What happens when there is a medical emergency such as a heartattack or pregnant woman going into labour?
They don’t care the authoritarian left we are peasants and deplorable
I live in Amsterdam, about 800 km north east of Munich. As far as I can tell we have these days of extreme weather, but in general, the temperatures are much warmer than what I remember a few years back. The last 3 winters were extremely mild with perhaps 1 week that got very cold.
About fossil fuels.
The German government has been trying to switch from nuclear power to renewables like wind and solar, but that backfired of course cause this idea pushed by leftie morons simply cannot work. The result is now that Germany is much more reliant on fossil fuels then ever before because they have shut down allot of nuclear powerplants.
Its not possible to store renewable energy yet so sometimes there is a massive surplus, then the next moment a massive shortage. Anytime a shortage arises, fossil fuels are being burned. With the situation around Ukraine and Russia, the market is still not stabilized.
Cool
That's why I'm happy in india 🇮🇳
It was in Germany (Around Munich), i live there but NOT the car crashes!!! why you show english car crashes???? Thats is not ok.
But the snow was on the Weekend very extreme for Germany and one week later away
So blessed to be living in Punjab, India...No snow, Tornadoes, Tsunami, earthquakes, etc.
Ahhh but floods and dusty storms
I want to get there
Send us some. We've not had proper snowfall since the early 1980's and before.
There's 4 ft. of snow and the guy is like well there's no football game !! 😂 They take their football very seriously huh?

Tolles Video! Was halten Sie von diesem Ansatz?
😮😮😮
Nothing to do with Germany.
That was definitely Germany, december 2 2023, CNN had a story about it..it was in Munich...
Weather modifications. Or climate change?
@@btdoe3259 global warming for sure 😂
CNN smells like Munster cheese rotten lol
No one likes watching these videos, because they just go to a warm climate and forgets about this. But then when you are sweltering in the summer heat, we are up north where its nice and cool. Thats when we shut those videos off when you are melting in the sun. We dont care about heat videos, when we have it so nice and cool. The door swings both ways.
Sorry to Munster
The scenes at the 2:40 mark are in the US.
Why do people go out at all ?
And a few days later Mick Jagger was singing: But it's all over now. 😅
I can't stop! ahhh 😂
This is real snow some country have sleet cause Ice frozen from warm air melt is sleet.
Aren't those clips from USA winter storm?

What? You use video's from France, England, other countries and Germany together... Did you have too little footage for your video? A little confusing!
this was weeks ago, not "RIGHT NOW!"
it was uploaded 3 weeks ago. Don't blame them for the titel when you're late to watch the video

Why would you be takking about football in that weather.. no words

Hello you look so beautiful and your smile is so amazing 😊

I would like to receive detailed information not only about the snow, but also about the logistics situation, the impact on railways, and the impact on citizens' lives. In this harsh winter and blizzard, what about EV vehicles, including politically-led public transportation buses? I really want to know too.
Of the Public Transportation, the Tram, S-Bahn (suburban/commuter rail) and Bus service (with political bus you mean normal public transport bus? all public transport in the city is managed by the city/it's corporation, except the commuter S-bahn) was halted at around 0 or 1 a.m. due to frozen tracks or safety concerns regarding street ice, and private car journeys were nigh impossible in the night due to the roads being blocked by snow walls and frozen ice. No difference between electric vehicles and others.
U-Bahn service (the metro) - which services the Munich city area - was entirely unaffected and was the only method of getting home for citizens until 5 p.m., but it serves most of Munich city so worst case was a 1 hr walk if you are on the edge of the city (where new stations are currently still being built/planned and not finished yet).
However, the S-bahn - even the city tunnel section - was initially closed due to being connected to the regular outside network which was frozen/blocked.
After 4 hours or so they cleared the outside section of the core route so one line of the usual seven ran from east main station to west main station, passing the city center and the central terminal station. Now people from munich west could also go home easily (east¢er are connected by metro already, west metro is currently being built).
But there was no way of getting home for people living in Munich outer district or other district surrounding Munich city, they were stuck in the city or even worse the surrounding small towns if they relied on the S-bahn to get to their district/town/Munich city.
Travellers passing through by distance train were stuck. Hotels were booked out completely all around and for ridiculous prices. The few ubers that tried to drive also charged ungodly prices. Taxis were not overpriced though.
Bus operations and car traffic resumed very quickly the morning after as roads were cleared by city workers in the early hours (but some cars were still stuck in the parking lots or non-main streets unable to get out as the focus was on clearing big roads first obviously).
People who lived in the outer area were either picked up or could use a combination of Metro+Bus to get home as the busses cover all areas basically.
The S-bahn line 8 to the Airport also resumed service quickly the next day. People at the airport were stuck there until then however. Flights still not allowed as of now and a plane broke from too heavy snow.
S-bahn outer sections/lines progressively reopened as the ice was cleared with the last line resuming service today, which marks the return to normal.
Trams were the last to recover, most lines operate by now but still not all.
There were no real dangerous incidents, only high prices and maybe cold feet and tripping occasionally if you chose to walk and very annoyed people obviously. If you were not outside on Friday night you probably wouldn't have noticed until the next day. Nothing happened to infrastructure like electricity etc.. Saturday continued very normal except with only one S-Bahn line and no Tram service.
The worst logistical thing is that the organization operating the S-Bahn did not inform people about the core route closure until early in the morning, so people used the metro in hopes of getting home with the S-bahn, and were stuck then.
It wasn't a blizzard really, it was very light/easy snow, but it had been snowing for 2-3 day non-stop (and I mean non-stop for real, so the sheer masses of snow were the probelm, and the lower layers begin to freeze if new snow lands on top etc.)
Agreed.
Well I'm Canadian not German, so I can't say what they're doing, but I know what a complete nightmare EV vehicles (which are stupid in the first place, as they are not good for the environment, look it up, the batteries alone are an environmental nightmare) are here in winter.
They don't work at all. I mean, they're a stupid idea to start with, for a million reasons, but trying to have one in a place like this where -40 is the norm in winter? Hahahahaaaa.
A not-so-bright old friend just learned that. Their EV ran out of juice in the middle of nowhere (cold temps drained the battery) and they had a 300 dollar cab ride home.
@@Julia-nl3gq why are they a nightmare in winter in Canada, while it doesn't seem to be much of a problem up in Norway? In fact the greatest share of newly registered vehicles are all electric, not even countiny hybrid electric ones. Not only private cars, but also vans, busses, trucks, emergency vehicles, ... ships ...
Dumb American: "I can't stop!"
Me: "Why did you start?"
quite a few clips aren't from Germany, not even Europe

Hello beautiful
What happened to the "Global Boiling" due to "Climate Change?"
Go back in history to the the Great Dust Bowl during the Depression when it didn't rain for 10 years in the US Mid-West. Was that climate change then?
Some Jerry attrick fool from the UN claims globull Boiling is here?? Where?? The water in my pond is 8*C all year.
Germany right now ... TWO WEEKS AGO 😂 Who are you trying to fool ? I'm sure I've seen this before . So much pretense in the world .
A lot of this is NOT Germany at all but Britain.
Good for germany. No cheap gas from russia, no nuclear power plants.
Wintertime shows us the most stupid unexperienced drivers.
Berlin war astéroïdes froid industriel 😊
How dare you challenge the snow. You lose every time.
This must be good news for 🎿 Ski. Why lifts closed?

The climate seems to change on a daily basis..... a bit like weather...
People are so stupid trying to drive in snow storms like this. Insurance company's wont pay out if you deliberately drive in weather like this.
I would rather stay home buy the fire and keep worm and get drunk.
NOTHING TO DO WITH GERMANY....
