  • The Ilusion xmk590 ff is a short motorhome measuring only six metres. Being a short motorhome means that it can more easily be parked and driven through medieval villages - something perhaps worth considering before buying a vehicle.

    This with a overcab would be one of the best compact 4 to 6 sleepers on the market. This is similar to the Euro mobile version. The length way beds are the way ahead.❤

    would be better if the 1st and second were combined, more storage behind driver seat, and sideways lounge, but make the lounge a bed by docking the table. but make it much taller and climb up int o louge, would give much better panoramic view, and taller underseating storage, the fold up bike storage at the back of the first van is excellent idea and should be a feature of every rear lounge van....

    The drop down double bed would be the perfect layout for my partner and I. More vans need to utilise the diesel/electric heating for the habitation and water. More and more LPG filling points are disappearing in favour of EV charging points.

      In the UK I can see this being a problem but where I hang out - Poland, Germany and Italy - there is no problem with getting LPG.

    I would very much put up with the low ceiling created by the beds. That is a novel idea, beds made up, singles not tripping over my wife in the night and a perfect use of space in my view. THX Alan!

      if you made up the lounge in to a bed by lowering table, it would still be easy to get in and out of without german layout

      @@neoaliphant Yes that would work, but it would not be made up, you would have to lower the table pull out all your bedding etc. So much easier lowering the table and then your bed, crawl in and lights out. This is a great design!

      @@paula.jackson5463 all depnds on space, weight etc, it is a smaller vehicle after all, lots of the VW type vans you need to make uop the bed, i had a similar bed in a caravan, alld epends on priorities but as the bed would add a lot of cost, perhaps thousands, also a powered drop down bed is anotehr thing to go wrong due to emchanical failure. while bedding takes up space, the drop down also takes up ceiling space....swings and roundabouts

    This is a really cool rv! Does the dinette make into a bed too if needed?

    • @neoaliphant
      @neoaliphant 14 дней назад +1

      i would prefer dinette to bed and not have the bed lowering down to save money and height.....

      I don't think there is this option but in any case often the conversion takes up quite bulky equipment which I think is self defeating in a small vehicle. Much better is to get an inflatable mattress which takes up next to no space at all - it is what I do!
