Here in England, Mercedes and BMW engines, especially diesels, are taking over the role of the Rover V8. Especially when you can get more power from them than you can from the 215ci Buick engine. If I had the running gear from any BMW you see here, it’d go in a 1940 Ford, Ford F1 pickup or a T-bucket.
