I think I will buy one of these after watching this video. I like the idea of mixing with Aum. Is there anyway to power the iPad while the interface is being used?
Great video. I think input 5/6 represents Arturia’s “loopback” feature. Interesting that the iPad recognizes all inputs and outputs out of the box. On macOS you have to install firmware to enable more than 2 inputs/outputs. I wonder why that is?
Is there a way to let the Sound Output go to iPad or MacBook loudspeakers internally? So I have one connection less with Loudspeaker. Btw always interested in your great content.
Hi. thank you for the video. I have one question: have you tried to plug electric guitar or bass to 3 or 4 inputs on the back? Can these inputs be use to record guitar or bass and (I guess using the trim knob in control centre) achieve some usable input gain level for these passive instruments? This is very important info to me. Thanks in advance.
Hey thx for the video. BTW do you recommend this Arturia Interface to connect 4 analogue synths at the same time? Behringer Td3, Rd 6, Crave and Arturia Microfreak. Thx!
@@aquietgarden don’t even bother about it. I bought it. It doesn’t work with the iPad. You have to plug it into a computer to set the drivers for it then it’ll work for your iPad just to plug it straight into the iPad. Your in the second inputs don’t work.
@@730productionsllc But it doesn't power the iPad? Do I just need to use an external power supply into the MiniFuse 4, then I will get charge through to the iPad, or do I need to use a powered hub in between the iPad and one of the Minifuse hub slots?
Hey nice video, was settled on the 4 after watching this, but then noticed it does not seem to have the input mix knob and mono button the 2 has, seems odd the bigger one has missing features.
You can control all of this and more via the MiniFuse Control Center. It simply doesn't have a knob and button as it's needs more to do it all. So, via software it is.
Just got the minifuse 4 one irritating thing is the control centre is not available on iOS or android. Also it came with the headphones out muted, and you need control centre to set it up. Be nice if you can do it all in iOS.
I followed your tutorial here and I cannot for the life of me get my minifreak working through the minifuse 4 to the ipad in AUM. Connected via L+R out on the minifreak to the L+R (3 and 4) inputs on the back of the minifuse 4. Minifuse 4 to the ipad via USB (A to C adapter). RUclips audio etc. comes out through the headphones connected to the minifuse just fine, but in AUM for both Hardware input and output, it shows Minifuse Start L+R. I’m admittedly very new to this, but it’s driving me insane trying to get this thing working, any tips?
Hi, thanks for your video, when i saw it need to ask you something, maybe you know how to, ¿is possible to use this second usb in the hub to connect a MacBook Pro with Logic or other DAW? Or in my own scheme, i have this laptop in the usb C and maybe i can use the iPad synths in the mix just using the second usb A. Thanks in advance for your answer. :-D
The iPad recognises all 4 inputs, plus both USB ports, you can also choose it to be 4 mono inputs, or 2 stereo inputs or 2 mono and 1 stereo. No matter which audio interface you get the iPad will recognise all inputs and outputs.

Yes, you have to buy another dongle from Apple though, that allows you plug in a USB and also a power supply
Hi, I am Lukas from Germany. I can’t see Channel 3 and 4 in AUM. What cloud be the reason for this? My iPad is 2. Generation. Thanks for your help!

I just went from store and decline to buy this stuff because it shows only input 1/2 and output 1/2 out of box 🤷🏻♂️
hii! Does the interface charge your iPad while you're using it?

I wonder why iOS is not listed on Arturia’s website under compatible OS
is called iPadOS now
