I like how we can now hear the lines of the lyrics more clearly without the overlap like at 2:20 the end of the line (when squid sisters would be singing da dada da da) is more clear i actually never noticed that marina ended it like that
That's called a split tone/overtone/polyphonic singing! Granted, Marina's VA is heavily edited, so it's kinda cheating. But that's the technical term for it. Not many humans can do it naturally and it takes a LOT of skill. Lalah Hathaway is a good example!
Listening to this, I'm noticing Pearl actually has a lot of low notes when she's not rapping. It's a bit interesting considering (at least from what I've noticed) most of us have thought Pearl's voice is only ever high pitched.

@@schmoovin Well, The music video does only say Marina does, but both of their mouths move and you can hear more than one voice. Although it could have been edited out of the final version of Three Wishes and to respond to the intitial reply, I agree, it likely was just covered up.
They have Pearl singing the (lower) Alto part with Marina singing Soprano, we actually haven’t heard her sing that low before #47 Onward. But we’re getting more here. Also, that last timestamp is not Pearl but Marina harmonizing with herself.. which she oddly does a lot and is the only idol that does it.

That's something i noticed. I think that's just the voice of the actress but since it's covered by the other voices, you don't notice
