Not to say that this scene is within it, as he goes on to say “I think I prefer the current reality.”

Instead of maruki doing this secretly people would go to him and explain their problems and he would have had his own cult following but the phantom thieves would have stopped him and made them realize what he's doing is wrong but what he's trying to do is right. Eh i read it it's not as good as it could've been it seems more like a fan of the surface characterization of these people than their actual character and what makes them unique it the fact they aren't persona users, giving them powers defeats that. Not to mention it just overall feels very unpersona in character and concept. Great designs but I personally didn't care for it
I've honestly always wanted to have a scene in Persona 3, 4, and 5, where, once you reach the max social link with a character, they would be involved and actually do something in the plot. I get that P5 did that, but I wanted something more. Something like them going into the metaverse and seeing how they operate for one mission or something. That way they would be more involved with your plans. This gave me a little hope.

Like "I had a minor test drugs!" or "I had a minor hide stuff the cops were looking for and meet up with members of the Yakuza." Fortune and temperance, I mean they're bad, but Fortune it was just one thing she knew was a scam and that's it, she ended up paying the money he spent on the obvious scam back to him. Meanwhile temperance was doing her job, he's the one who called her over. She didn't do anything really sketchy, specifically telling him that she wouldn't be giving him any "special massages" since he's a minor (at least, not until after she was no longer employed as a maid). As a maid, all she really did was clean and make him dinner one time. Those two are the ones who could realistically be forward about what they did despite Sae being there, former Yakuza and the doctor are the ones who'd need to watch what they're saying.

I initially read that as "unused" in the sense of, Confidants the player ignored. But, after watching it, I get that it's actually just an unused scene from the game. Also, I can see ditching a couple, but if the player somehow doesn't spend time with any of them, they're probably not very good at the game.
This scene was likely cut early on, considering the last bit. In the final game, Sojiro has no idea the reality change occured, let alone the public. So this is possibly a remnant of an earlier draft of the extra semester script.
Since joker had no mom and dad or family in general in the game the confidants really felt like jokers true family to me big sisters uncles always seen sojiro and the teacher as the mother and father figure sea was always the bad ass aunt while iwa was that shady uncle type of figure and so on and so on you guys get the point anyway it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling more so considering how many people turned there back on joker really felt like when all was down he had someone there for him when he needed it most
I wonder what role this played in the epilogue. I think there's a part here we're not getting that needs another scene as well. Great scene to watch though, would have loved to see this used as well.

I just wish they could have added more dialogue with each one mentioning what they thought of him at first leading to how special Joker is to them ... so that we get to understand a little more about each adult, to give each of them more depth. For example ... Kawakami was not to thrilled to have the Transfer Student, as if he was a bit of a burden. Sakura did not cut the Delinquent any slack at the beginning and was quite stern. Over time, some adult Confidants warmed up to him and saw him for who he really is, and no longer as a 'troublemaking Delinquent'.
This definitely should have made it in Royal. I mean come on Royal added so much but they kept something this great and nice away from us? But hey at least what we got was absolutely undoubtedly amazing
I think this scene was cut because while it does have something people would like to see, its reasoning for existing is flimsy and everyone gets along too well for not really knowing each other. It also only works if the player completed all adult confidants, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. It'd make a good reward but is lower priority. It also adds nothing to the presumed ending where this all takes place and is purely fanservice filler that would serve better as an unlockable bonus scene rather than a part of the story. Or classic time constraints.

I love how tall and beefy Lala-chan is. She could of solar-plexed Shido out of existence all on her own.
I think this scene was cut because while it does have something people would like to see, its reasoning for existing is flimsy and everyone gets along too well for not really knowing each other. It also only works if the player completed all adult confidants, otherwise it wouldn't make sense. It'd make a good reward but is lower priority. It also adds nothing to the presumed ending where this all takes place and is purely fanservice filler that would serve better as an unlockable bonus scene rather than a part of the story.
Or classic time constraints.
