Is LeBron the undisputed GOAT after reaching the 40k-point milestone?
He was before
No, Simple Z
No one ever mentions how much games lebron has played. That's why these total stats shouldn't be considered in goat debates. It never made kareem the goat, which he still has a better resume, so it doesn't make lebron the goat.

This is the one. Nick be killing him.
Only 4 players have done this. MVP, scoring title, all nba first team, all defensive first team, ring, finals MVP in the same season. They are Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan & Michael Jordan 💯

Bill, Russell has 11 NBA championship rings. No one says he’s the greatest.
When Bill played NBA was at its infancy. There were only a "Total" of 9 teams when Celtics won their 8 straight in 1969 and only 8 when he won the first of the 8.

I've seen LeBron James walk off the floor and quit before the game was even over. Jordan retired i.e. left the game after he won 2 separate 3 peats. Get over it.

When you can identify the NBA finals where Jordan's scoring average dipped by 33%, where he averaged only 17 ppg and had a game where he only scored 8 points, then we can have a "clearer conversation." If you can identify the season where he played with a 2nd team all-NBA teammate and another who was an all-star, but lost in the finals where his team was heavily favored, then we can have a "clearer conversation." If Nick Wright could start each conversations acknowledging that he's a client of Klutch Sports, then we can have a "clearer conversation."

@@moodurr13y’all are brainwashed bro.
@@moodurr13bc you watched too many Jordan Nike commercials. Jordan had the 2nd best team (help) in history, beating a watered down league with 4 expansion teams, and had an illegal rule allowing him to make a salary that wasn’t allowed to other teams.
keep wondering bron fans...
I typically measure a 10 consecutive year stretch. Pick any 10 years you want. I don’t think being almost as successful for twice as long makes someone “greater”.
But my criteria during that stretch are:
Per game stats
Individual accolades
Team success
Gap between that player and the rest of the league
Social/global influence
The last part is added because “greatness” isn’t purely an argument about “better” or more “talent”. Or Ali probably wouldn’t be the GOAT. When you talk about the greatest musicians, cars, inventions, etc., it’s not just “they sold the most so it’s the greatest”. Impact matters. What it led to after matters. So we can’t ignore it for sports.
I love the Jerry rice, Randy moss comparison. Some ppl just don’t get it. Jordan had the goat coach on the side line too. Lebron has been the contender for best player in the league since day one.
Everything changed for the bulls when Phil Jackson came in with the triangle offense.
Not a good comparison because Jerry has rings and Moss doesn’t
Phil Jackson was no goat coach when he first got there. Winning 3 rings made him the goat coach. He was an assistant coach with zero experience before that.
What people fail to mention is that lebron had a great coach in Miami, with a great front office and with a great supporting cast. He tried getting spolestra fired and he still ended up leaving.
@@nukenubz5087poor Spoelstra. Everyone keeps saying LeBron never had a great HOF coach while almost every list currently says Eric Spoelstra a top 3 coach in the league. Many even have him as the best. Was even able to get 2 considerably less talented heat teams to the finals. And if we follow a lot of LBJ fan logic the fact that he lost those two finals shouldn't matter. He participated in them. Dude could have had 3 rings like Phil pre-Jordan first retirement but he was the unlucky coach on the receiving end of LeBrons legendary choke job against Dallas is 2011. I have no doubt that LeBron with Spoelstra would have been one of the all-time combos but LeBron bounced, again, despite his 7 ring promise. Fact is LeBron would never play for a coach like Phil because great coaches install their systems. All the people who like to talk about how selfish Jordan was forget his sacrificed his overall numbers to fit into Phil's system.

Just to clear this up the Wizarda organization were the ones who commemorated the moment with a trophy when Jordan reached 30k. It wasn't the NBA...
Isn’t that part of the problem tho. Forget the debate on who’s the goat, back when Jordan was getting old the league treated him like a god, jersey retirements for teams he didn’t play for, stopping games for becoming what the 5th leading scorer at the time compared to it seems to be a trend or cool to be as actively disrespectful to lebron as possible from coaches to young players(older players I feel are respectful they’ve seen it for long enough)
The treatment they get are not even close to being comparable and the only logical way I can make it make sense it that those people are stressed about the fact they idolised 1 as Jesus himself just to see someone else do it what appears to be so effortlessly most of the time meaning that man they put on a pedestal is nothing but a man with a great marketing team.

The problem with this argument is that he is assuming longevity vs peak is 50:50 weight. God is in the details. Even within the “peak” variable, there are weights, so you dont necessarily “score a point” per 1 year, 2 year, etc.
Even with it being weighted, he says LeBron had a better 1 year peak, they had even 2 year peak and Jordan had a better 3 year peak. But after that, LeBron had a better 4,5,6 and more year peaks. So if peak is close and longevity isn’t, then the player with both is logically better

Probably the best presentation of a Complete Lebron Goat Argument.
Fair !!
Gotta bring Chris on the pod for this convo
Facts
Delusion
Until you find out the Wizards awarded him that trophy.... Not the league
For extra credit, that Wizards team finished 10th in the east .. No PlayIN for them 😂
What day do you get your Lebron payroll check. Bought and paid for!
stop him when he lies . other than that keep crying
This guy needs to watch jimmy highroller. He doesn’t know how wrong he is.
Im a jordan guy but nick is right he's spitting facts.
Nick is right. Every time LeBron does something they move the goal post.
All I want to know is what is the criteria for the GOAT? What are the parameters? Then let's have an objective debate... Otherwise my GOAT is mine and your GOAT is yours... and who sets the parameters? Not Bron or Jordan fans, surely. Ever wondered why the NBA hasn't set a criteria as yet? Because it's in their best interest for the GOAT debate to continue.
MAJOR POINTS
wait completely unrelated did this man just say sum people might say randy moss had a greater peak then jerry rice 🤣🤣🤣????? i love randy but thats CRAZY
The goat debate been over. Jordan showed us wat a goat is. Lebron has been the goat for almost ten years. Let it go folks
The highest and most prestige accolade and accomplishment in basketball is the fmvp award . And Jordan owns 6 of them , the most in nba history . And he did that in a total of a 15 year career .
Get'em Nick!
'Dumb question'
-Jordan
WE DONE WITH THE 90s
Fantastic argument...
Wright says team success doesn't matter but he said lebron had a better peak because of team success 😅
Lebron and Jordan should not be mentioned in the same sentence. Everyone seems to forget Kobe Bryant who is also ahead of LJ.
The question is how many points did Michael average per year including playoffs?
The goat is not the best scorer stop that you know better
@@Unclejs_ stop what I never said anything about anybody being a goat that wasn't even the question. I'm just thinking about how many points they scored each season and had Jordan never retired the first 2 times he would have been well over 40k points that's literally all I'm saying. Now with that being said LeBrons 40k points combined with his assist numbers it's not even close. Jordan lacked in that department.
@@sidney1234usc possibly but total regular season and playoffs Bron would still have him beat
@@Unclejs_ That's not a fact
@@sidney1234usc no it's not 🤣 facts can be proven
This is why pippen is mad the proper credit is not given to the team. The bulls had a great team
So they didn’t stop the game when lebron got the record??
So it’s quantity over quality??
Dude forgot about the 1988 season lol
We done with the the 90s
If you're going to argue peaks in the goat debate. Then Shaq is the goat
So it’s quantity over quality?
Rice vs moss isn’t as clear cut as you think
Stop it Nick WRONG😂
Nah, Nick is cooking Facts🔥
Jordan losses to
Bucks 85'
Celtics sweep 86' & 87'
Pistons 88', 89', 90' ,
Magic 95'
Wizards 0 playoffs . As a Bull 7 bad endings.
Needed tex Winters to give him answers how do I beat Pistons?
Triangle offense!
Pippen wins nothing without him, but blames him in 90' eastern conference finals losses. Even gets called "Migraine game " Great teammate.
The Airness can't beat 1 team in a winner take all game 7????
1 game. LeBron beats his Pistons foe. They had 4 All stars and tayshawn Prince 6 9' defensive specialists. Case closed. Jordan had the Greatest....Marketing ever by Nike with the Greatest style of play. But not big enough unlike LeBron to make a impact on the inside. Rebound or block shots like a Big.
It’s funny how you never mentioned how lebron keeps getting swept 🤣🤣🤣
I'd say the best comparison for "peak" that is fair for both players is 26 to 35. That is when both players were having significant success in the Playoffs. If you go year-by-year, then I see LeBron being better for at least 4 of these ages while Jordan was better for at most 4 of these ages. I have them tied for 2 of these ages. LeBron would get one year during an age that Jordan didn't play (age 31), but Jordan would also get one year for an age that LeBron basically didn't play either due to significant injury during the season. The injury was a definite factor in the Lakers not being in the Playoffs when LeBron was age 34.
If the goat was purely peak then Shaq is the goat and Shaq isn't the goat
They always mention LBJ having a lot of assist. Why don’t they ever mention he’s the all time leader in turnovers?????
Turnovers are a part of the game...the top 20 is dominated by greats (and Westbrook). If you can't hold on to the ball, you won't be in the league long.
Just say lbj is your goat. Listening to a guy who is paid by the guy he is advocating for is sad. He said it's been over since the 3-1 comeback so who you trying to convince.
Your right , Nick is paid by Clutch sports always being wined and dined by them, and he on their payroll, its obvious what is going on here.
Watch the channel uncut hoops if you want to see this argument absolutely obliterated into a different stratosphere
Gorge foreman " IS IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN WAS"
MeatJ 1-9 career playoff record without Pippen. STOP IT
Kobe will forever by my GOAT but that goes beyond basketball. Lebron is in my opinion the best to ever do it and longevity is a huge part in that decision. But if I was a Jordan supporter I would counter Nick by saying that by your own logic on peak it speaks to Jordan’s greatness that his 8 year peak is better than Lebrons when he had the 94 and 95 seasons off included
3 years of consecutive championships twice ..6 trophies. Case closed
In 1985 Larry Bird scored 28.7 rebounded 10.5 assisted 6.6 won MVP went to finals. 1986 numbers 25.8, 9.8, 6.8 MVP won championship. Thank you Nick wright for finally definitely proving that Larry Bird is the greatest small forward of all time
That good juice is better than no juice
Stop it 😂😂😂
