If you start with a High Deductible G plan, and after a few years it isnt working out, can you switch to the standard G ? or does that trigger an underwriting ?
I am 63 in TN. When I am 65 if I went with a Plan G with AllState to start with, then the next year Cigna is less, can I switch to a Plan G with Cigna, or am I stuck with AllState for the rest of my life. Or can I switch but have to go through underwriting to switch companies?
You can switch with underwriting. If you have health problems in the future and want to lower your premiums, we can help you get with the right company who will accept you
Mostly it is with Medicare “Advantage” plans. So many of those plans seem to cover silver sneakers, hearing, eyes, maybe dental but god forbid you actually have a hospitalization or want to see the Dr of your choice. I would absolutely go with the Medicare Part G they are talking about or if in good health do High Deductible G (they have a YOUTube on that too) before I would do Advantage.
@shirl5953 thanks, that's what I figured. We are 3 years away, doing our research. We plan to w A,B, supplement G or N. Guess I will continue to have to budget for the gym.
You can get silver sneakers with the right Humana plan G. With the correct United Healthcare plan G, you get renew active which is like silver sneakers. That’s what I have myself and use the gym 3x per week
Thanks, Cardinal Advisors; I nominate you for the 2024 Best RUclips Whiteboard Award! We will need to find an A-list celebrity to host.😀
Thank you
@@CardinalAdvisorsMy pleasure, indeed.🔥
Plan G doesn't give you dental and optometry coverage like Advantage does. If you go with G, how do you close the gap?

Thanks for the great information. Curious, where in Medicare is "Silver Sneakers" covered?
