You said you would do the top 12 nations previously as well as the Georgians "in a later video". If so, please don't forget. If not, please do them both if possible. Would both be fascinating. Perhaps even a tier 2 nations deep dive in the new year. Next year is when qualification opportunities for the 24 teams for 2027 RWC will take place for those nations. Will be interesting who you predict will qualify too.
I agree 7, with expectation of 9 in 25, I'm a kiwi after all :) For the backline reshuffle, I'd go with: J. Barrett at 15, Jordan at 14, Fainga'anuku at 13, Anton Lienert-Brown at 12 and Mo'unga at 10, if Robinson gets his way and can draw from overseas players. You're serving the rugby community well!
6.25 /10 for me (a kiwi). Really happy with our forward pack. Set piece and around the park, lots of improvement. I feel nz pack is very underrated. I am concerned about our loose forwards. Lots if options, need combinations. Major issue is converting possession into points. 10, 12, 13 combinations a major issue. I'd like dmac to get more game time at 10 and several up n comers in midfield are worth giving a shot. Fwiw, I actually think nz has a lot of talent here, but our coaching isn't preparing players for the current standard of int'l rugby and defence, the slower pace of the game impacted by stoppages. My biggest concern for the future of nz rugby is the nzru. 14 games, 5 in NZ, resting ABs for major periods of super rugby, so nzru telling nz rugby fans what they think of us
Tough one. A score out of 10 measured against NZ results of the past years would look very different to a score out of 10 measured against the other teams. I think up to and including the Rugby Championship, 7 would be fair ... but I'd score them 8.5 for the November series. If the team goal was to build and grow through the year under the new coaching team, blood some youngsters, & find the best combinations ... then I'd say they used the year well and an end of year 8 to 8.5/10 is deserved.
Will watch shortly - but would be amazed if high (in saying that Tim is a soft marker). ABs lost 4 games - so maximum 6, and extra half mark off for poor bench mgmt be Eng and in TRC. Would be another half off for coaching disruptions, but they dealt with well so half mark back. Score of 5.5 (10-4, -0.5, -0.5+0.5). A C / C+
I always find the ‘rivalry’ between SA and NZ a bit dull tbh - too much of a love in and no bite whatsoever. Never feels like either side is giving 100% against each other. One of the problems with SH competitions. NZ v France or SA v Ireland is a lot more fun because you can feel the sharpness of it.
All black fans Joey manu Nrl convert will he ever get a shot for the all blacks like tuivasa sheck? Be interesting to see how he goes in union but could be a shout for rwc 2027 if he comes good
Certainly would love to see it. Loads of talent, physical specimen, but lots of injuries, and he's 28, playing in Japan. Will need to be some kind of special and possibly then some. Personally, I wish he'd stayed with league cos I want him in the Kiwis
7 is fair. I really thought Razor would be better, but there’s no getting away from a pretty poor TRC performance. End of year tour was better. Arguably very lucky to beat England, their best performance of the year against Ireland and equally unlucky to lose to France. But it’s now 4 losses in a row against SA and 3 against France. Plus, 10 is still an issue.

They should, i think both could go down as AB/International legends up there with the best of all time in the future so that sort of IQ will be huge
