Thanks Felix! As a Bombers lifelong supporter, this is the best time of the year. Before the season, we dare to dream. And everyone knows the rest I’m afraid.
Cheers mate, love your work. I’ve been along to a few training sessions over the break (including both this week) and would have Ridley in there as one of the stand outs so far as well. Looks fit and confident, moving really well 💪🏻❤🖤
Thanks F. HNY. Some great news. I have been a Tsatas backer from Day 1. So great to hear. Al Hawli is also going to go on with it. Looking forward to 2025. I think we may actually finish a bit higher up the ladder this year.
Kyle Langford has been one for me. He has slimmed down and become really agile. He could be a real threat this* year. He was closer to the front in that 2k they did the other day. Tsatas has definitely got me excited, he looks very good at training. Need to see him in a real match now. Unwin has been putting together some good moments. Jaxon Prior has a good kick on him. Durham might have slimmed down a little as well, he's looking monster. Perkins and Alwyn both look better than I thought they would. Still need to see that in a game.
Looks like we are trying to really hone in on match sim and drill work instead of fitness, the message to the boys was turn up fit and ready to get right into it, that way we aren't behind the mark.
Can’t help but think that the December superstar almost always falls off the perch through the season. Too many references over the years to name. But last year in January Zach Merrett named Darcy Parish as his 2024 Brownlow favourite.
Thanks Felix. Love your work. I liken the problem with Tsatas the same as Scott Bowland in the Australian cricket team. A gun player trying to replace one of 3 or 4 gun players. I think he's in if one gets injured. It's a nice problem to have.
Boland is 35-36 replacing legitimate stars in cricket, where as Tsatas is 21 replacing average players. Injury free I can’t see how Tsatas is not in our Opening Round side.
@bobbob1800 Boland would walk straight into any other team in the world even at his age and has proven himself at the top level. Tsatas as good as the signs are has yet to be proven in the big league. I would put Merritt, Parish, Durham, Caldwell and even Shiel, when fit, ahead of Tsatas at the moment but he does look good
@@markwethereld8943 I didn’t come here to talk cricket, though Boland is horses for courses, outside of Australia his record is poor. Therefore it depends on where the test is played. Mate Tsatas is a jet - tall, quick, can win his own ball and kick goals. Outside of Merrett, Martin & Durham there’s nobody else in that midfield that are looking like being superstars right now to suggest why anyone else should be ahead of him in the midfield.
@bobbob1800 It's fine you don't want to talk cricket but you still had to put your two Bob's worth in regarding Boland (pardon the pun). We all use analogies at times and I wasn't forcing you to answer me. My comments are directed to Felix and all my fellow Bombers fans. We all want the same thing ie, the best team on the park available. I actually hope I'm proven wrong about Tsatas but only time will tell. Go Bombers
Wright and parish are the ones that need a huge preseason. Second years of big contracts which neither has done anything. All I heard is that reid beat Wright a few times, which does not sound promising
I would ban both Parish and Wright from open training. Instead, Parish would work on kicking exclusively and also sprint training to enhance his two way running engine. Or find any engine at all. Wright would be locked in the weight room with 3 boxes of protein shakes. It's criminal that someone his size with 6 or 7 pre seasons under his belt is that weak. No more excuses. Gain mass or fuck off.
I don't think he does. Getting too big will be a detriment to his speed and endurance. He's gotten stronger, that much is clear if you watch training, but I don't think he's been aiming to put on size because it would detract from his most prominent strengths.
@@stevelozevski8151 clearly another essendon fan who can't handle an ounce of reasonable criticism, pretty much sums up the state of the club over the past twenty years.

Agree100% but admit I no longer dare to dream. 24 times bitten, 25th time shy.

This is the time of year when we look amazing, but as always we know that Essington isn't too far away.

Love your work mate! I am starting to like Unwin on our list
@@everythingessendon548 yes he does quite a lot right at training for an 18 year old
I really hope that we are doing something different this year

I’ll bet my left one Tsatas plays opening Round. I reckon he’ll be our prime mover out of the middle before long.

Looking likely so far this pre-season.
Hi Felix
Any way you can call out the official website to update the player profile page?
Every year they take forever to make the changes
Thanks
Mate I was thinking the exact same thing the other day, I think they usually wait till after photo day to change it, so won't be too long now.
Hopefully it transferred to actual games. Every club is tearing up the track
Nah we are winning the flag, lock it in.

To say Tsatas has the best hands at the Club is forgetting about Jye Caldwell. Surely
Never worried about a Caldwell fumble.
