Sometimes I get a bit bored with constant BMW stuff and your insistence on lowering everything, but recently I think we're back to AutoAlex at it's best doing the stuff you're best at. The Ferrari is ridiculous, it's a hopeless basket case, but the content is great, I hope it lives. Then the Classic Mini and Spitfire, the Spit looks awesome, I'm a Triumph fan and though I like the purist approach the mods on that car close to perfection, an actual improvement and not just mods for mods sake. The Mini though, is one of the nicest I've ever seen, and Mini's have always been modded from day 1, and this is in the spirit of Mini customs, I LOVE it, great job Taylor, well done mate
Maybe not physically, but I'm sure it is relatively speaking. That jag was literally a barn find, whereas the mini was bought off a bloke who had a custom 'shed' for it 😂
Jimmy jag has a new owner and is doing his own RUclips videos with him now he’s already done a video with Taylor hahaha the channel is called beast autos
As you like a good rim, the wheels you took off are proper RSP items, so worth £2-300. Also, for someone of Taylor's stature, I would recommend fitting seat 'lay back' brackets. They only cost a few quid, mount to the hinges and put the seat back 2-3 inches, which makes a world of difference to legroom for the driver.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, little Pete wasn't built at Cowley in Oxfordshire, that was built at the true home of the mini, Longbridge. But on a positive, keep going lads i look forward to your content every week!

I keep seeing Alex's Porky spoiler in the background and it makes me want to see it on the mini. It would look ridiculous, but I've never thought that a reason not to do something.
Great to see Plant Oxford with a full on visitor centre now. When i went back in 2012 they were planning something so glad it happened. The factory tour is good too. Agreed Taylor's Mini would have been built in Longbridge.
Fair play to Taylor, that poor Mini was actually scrap when he got it and I didn't think it could be saved, I'm not sure what was actually holding it together to be honest, but it looks absolutely stunning now, great work.
I had a Mini Mayfair as my first car in the 90's, Still can't believe how I managed to get 4 blokes inside the car for its size. I thrashed the nuts of it and loved every minute of it. Put a stereo in it which worked out to be more than the cars worth.. Such a great car..

@@samcarpenter_Having owned a 998 cc mini, it blew my mind to see that series when they put a modern reasonably powerful engine in it. When the giant Tuning Fork borrowed it to drive you could tell he was seriously impressed. Not sure how he fitted in the driver's seat, I am 6'3" and I had the seat in the furthest back bolt position and it was very cosy.
My fiance and I love our R50 mini. Most people who dislike the modern mini haven’t driven it. I didn’t think much of them until I drove it, and I have fallen head over heels with them. Taylor your classic mini looks fab, I cant wait to see it when it’s 100% finished and on the road with the other two classics! :)
