Disco3s are great cars so well done for this. Change the oil pump when doing the belts. Don’t get a cheap pump. The seats all split there, new seat foam and a trimmers will sort that easily. Brakes are easily upgraded. The V8 has an inch larger disc but uses the same callipers and pads. However, 4 pot Brembos from a mk1 Range Rover sport bolt straight on and make a great upgrade. L322 ones don’t fit so don’t get them. Get a remap from bas or alive and it will make it much nicer to drive.

Nice to see the disco 3 getting some love! I bought one earlier this year. Being a mechanic and having worked on many of them, I was a bit worried and had huge buyers remorse once the deal was done. A month and a bit later, I have absolutely fallen in love with the thing. It's so capable, comfortable and surprisingly, not horrendous on fuel. Great video lads! Great watch!
Same. Had mine since February, huge improvement on the old D1 and D2 but did question my sanity for a while after buying it. Chose an S model to avoid some of the potential issues. Have grown quite fond of it.

Channel keeps improving, started great and somehow still getting better. The other arfs old man has a disco 3 and it has only started doing landrover things since he had a flat battery, so, dont do that! Also had handvrake problems which seemed to be the 'XYZ Module' Taylor likely knows the reset procedure, hopefully its as easy as that for yours!

Reliable, the first thing i thought when i saw the tdv6 badge was shit because i remember my motor vehicle tutor last year having one in a range rover 2006 or 8 i think yeah 2006 and it was in the workshop alot with issues. Some of us had to push it once as it broke down well into the workshop the other tutors pushed it off the road. it needed something doing where the body had to be lifted off the chassis i think a fuel pump cant remember off the top of my head. Really screams reliable tho he did take all the slack he got from us for buying one of the most fault laiden range rovers really well but what else can you do.
Always funny that people think Rangerovers are unreliable, yet most of them do 200k miles in the harshest conditions (off-road). I think it’s all a clever media campaign by German car manufacturers in the past to slander British brands.
