By far the best video about front drum removal. We are a dying breed so not many out there. Thank you for making the point the drum and hub are PRESSED together.

0:56 Chrome socket on an impact wrench?!?! :::shakes fist::: 😡
Ok, I’ll forgive you… THIS time… hey, ya know Harbor Freight sells awesome impact sockets? Got a set myself (deep and standard), I love Harbor Freight. BTW: great video! 😎

Great video but you didn't show the difference of the holes on the lock ring and the pin that should of been on the first wheelbearng nut that locks the ring to the first nut.

No mention of how to set the bearing preload. If you just crank down on the lock and adjuster nut without any torque wrench, you’ll burn out your bearings right away. To anyone watching this as a guide, you need to install the first nut (the one with a little pin sticking out of it) to 50 ft pounds, then back off 90 degrees. Install the lock ring so the pin on the nut slide through one of the little holes, you may have to slightly adjust the nut. Then install the second nut to 90 ft pounds

I don't think the brake booster installed in this video was PN 54-73515. I just installed that exact part, and it's thicker front-to-back.

That rear end housing is from a later model truck. Did u swap that in??

It could have been swapped at some point. We thought it was the original.

@classictruckperformance290 well? I know these kinds of trucks pretty well but I will admit there is always the chance I'm wrong. But the shape of the housing around the pumpkin kinda spreads out further making it a stronger housing & those housings started being seen on 76 & up 1/2 ton fords. On earlier fords the pumpkin area of the housing is much rounder & the axle tubes transition into round axle tubes closer to the pumpkin. Supporting the ridgedness of overall housing less.

Your video is alright but your skipping way to much on someone who is trying to do it by themselves. Your skipped on how to put the shoes on and how you put the springs on
