Episode 4 of The Room Makeover Series widens the series’ scope with a multi-room renovation over four parts.
In this episode, we meet the Reimer Family. The Reimers tragically lost their son Caleb at age 16 in a vehicle accident in 2021. Caleb, a talented hockey player with a bright future, was drafted by the Edmonton Oil Kings in 2019. He debuted with the team in 2021 before losing his life alongside two schoolmates, Ronin Sharma and Parker Magnuson, from the Delta Hockey Academy. Facing a home with memories of the tragedy, the Reimers considered moving. Instead, they were nominated and selected for this episode of The Room Makeover Series.
In part 1, we begin the series’ largest makeover yet. The Reimers’ living room, kitchen, and family room are entirely remade, starting with conceptualization and demolition. Viewers also get to meet several members of the community who wanted to contribute to helping the Reimer family by donating their time, expertise, and materials.
Before the renovations can begin in earnest, we get to watch the process of ripping apart the existing rooms. Plus, watch the beginning of the planning process for this massive undertaking, and the first steps in painting, choosing lighting fixtures, and installing new cabinets.

This came up on a UTube ad. Sorry but I think it's disgusting. The kids were speeding at 187km/hr going over double yellow lines, could've killed how many OTHER PEOPLE? drunk driver at the wheel.. and the parents of Caleb Reimer accept $300K reno? I could understand if it was done in HIS name, for paraplegics/handicapped teenagers from accidents through NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN. Your son was old enough to know better than get in a drunk friend's car speeding to extent of risking death to himself or killing/murdering other people. Shocking & shameless.
