"Sherry, you look terrible!" "No worse than you, Claire." Love it! That's my childhood right there, I love the remake, but the original Claire was so feisty and tough, "SUCKER!".

Claire leaves a note about Sherry to Leon in the remake, saying she found a little girl and she is trying to help her, you can find it as Leon in the sewers before going to the Umbrella labs so Leon kinda knew about sherry when he met her at the end.
Claire: What's wrong? Is something following us? Leon stops and turns his head around in a dramatic way. Silence prevails for two seconds. Leon: OK Cue the metal
Definitely better than the remake.... more train details, the 2 scenarios completed each other (not repeated sequences)...... of course its better like anything in 1998.... cleaner, personal and better ❤️🙏
I have to agree as good as the remake is, some details for the story and the scenarios were done a lot better in the original, which actually surprised me. I think the remake wanted too much to be a completely different game and changed too many things even when there was no need to, and in the end not all the changes they made were for the best especially like you said the repeated sequences, that make each scenario feel like it's an alternate reality that can't have happened at the same time as the second one, like RE remake Chris and Jill scenarios: we can't play a canon story for the game since according to the series' continuity the canon events of RE 1 is a mix between the two scenarios but in the actual game it's impossible that they happened at the same time.
The remakes were fun but nothing will come close to how the originals made me feel as a 10 or 11 year old when I finally got all the crests and made it to the sharks and lab I had to put the chemicals together. Had taken a lot of running around hitting X on every wall and thing looking for what I missed.
I played the originals too, but I prefer the remakes and new Resident evil games. Back then only one, two, three and code Veronica were fun the rest were garbage. Now every relase is awesome and the graphic with ray tracing make the scenes more scarry and with a more horrific mood. But I hate to live in the past like a lot of people and their nostalgia. I hope they remake one and make a reimagine of the game instead of making the same game for a second time.
@@WhoAREyou-22iv LOL Ok. The remaster for RE1 that already came out was a reimagining of the game with new area's, puzzles and content. You can't really comprehend the nostalgia unless you know the huge differences between RE:DC and RE:Remastered which you clearly don't.
Ok I see so the remake RE 2 was so good they both have brand new unique endings but has a similar explosion idea as ever. Well done they brought a new birth of fans which Im one of those. I think Im just halfway done in RE 2 after Mr. X's stalking the whole time. As of now I paused my play before alligator boss fight with Ada waiting for me to return later
@richardstone8615 Yes, the Rocket Launcher gets thrown to the player by "Ada Wong" after a certain amount of time has elapsed battling with the mutated Tyrant.
@rodrigogonzaga1390 The reason why I didn't add those cutscenes which appears at the very end of Scenario A is because those are not the true ending scenes of Resident Evil 2.
This ending, although a bit cheesy, is much more epic, longer and complete than the boring cold one we get in the remake, and the brilliant BSO of the original game elevates this scene to the next level. The G monster isnt stopped so easy and continues to relentlessly pursuing Sherry, so our two exhausted héroes need to improvise a new escape. Finally the little girl saves the day and the tree of them make the run for their lives as the exact moment the G-Monster finally realizes his time is over. They survived the Raccoon City disaster, and after a little chat, Leon leads the way before giving his kick ass last sentence. Rock music come in. Abbsoltely baddas. Now look at the new versión, pretty cold and emotionless. Anyway, the remake is a top game and deserves tons of pray.
Never got the chance to play old resident evil games but the Remastered and remake will do but I hope I can play the classics on current gen playstations or PC.
Just curious.. few questions please In original RE1 is the Jill with Chris ending the same as Chris with Jill ending? So there's 8 but one is the same right? Chris and Jill - Jill and Chris are the same? Then in directors cut are their any new ones?
@JohnPerry G Yes, that specific ending with Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine is the same for both Characters in the Original Version of Resident Evil. Each character has four endings, with the outcome being determined on whether they rescued the other two S.T.A.R.S. survivors (Rebecca Chambers / Barry Burton) or not. The character who is not chosen by the player will be imprisoned in a solitary cell in the mansion's underground lab. In order to access the cell, the player must collect a set of MO Discs distributed within the mansion and use them in different decoding devices to unlock the door. To get the best ending, the player must rescue the other protagonist in addition to their assigned partner. -The best ending has Chris and Jill escaping the mansion alongside a third S.T.A.R.S. member (Rebecca or Barry, depending on who is the player character) after defeating the Tyrant and destroying the mansion. -The second best ending has the player character (Chris or Jill) escaping with his or her partner (Rebecca or Barry) after defeating the Tyrant and destroying the mansion. -The second worst ending has Jill and Chris escaping as the two only survivors, with the mansion still intact and the Tyrant set loose on the forest. -The worst ending has the player character as the sole survivor, with the mansion still intact and the Tyrant set loose on the forest. And no, there are no new Endings in Resident Evil: Director's Cut and Resident Evil: Director's Cut - Dual Shock Version. The Endings were unchanged in both versions.
@whoohaaXL Well, the reason why I didn't add those cutscenes which appears at the very end of Scenario A is because those are not the true ending scenes of Resident Evil 2.
The remake is really great., top gameplay atmosphere and fun evoking the good old days. Capcom nailed it. But there are some tlitle flaws that doesnt allow the game scoring a perfect 10. Some classical scenes continue being superior than their modern counterpart, like the excellent cutscene of the original sequence relating the attack against Birkin by Hunk´s team and the birth of the G-monster.
The Plot of the original RE2 is way better than the remake. The RE2 Remake is like half at least of what the story of RE2 Original had. The graphics of RE2 Remake is just too good. Of course. I still like both of them, but the original is still the best to me. Story wise.
@Rain No, that's not a Bad Ending. That's just the ending scene of Scenario A and it's not the true ending. To see the true ending(s), you have to play and finish Scenario B with either Leon Scott Kennedy or Claire Redfield.

The cutscene models actually looked good for 1998.
Nivec A lot of games back then, looked pretty good in cutscenes til this day. Final Fantasy had some the best , in my opinion!
They had alot more thought in them also. They had some mistakes but all in all they are actually better then most games today
@josue Martinez What?
Not that much. FF 8 had way better CGI cinematics.
Look at FF VIII that's godlike

@DVJFan because is not exactly the same as the original aww...
DVJFan reviews say otherwise
Right?? Leon in the Remake literally just said "OK" after Claire introduced Sherry lmao.

i think this ending has more feeling than the re 2 remake 。
Yeah it has more action.. thats for sure... *the cutscene btw*
I saw someone do that on TV once
Leon sounds like he doesn’t even wanna be here

One of the best games of all time, now getting a remake and releasing this month! I can't wait to play the shit out of it!

did u extract the shit out of the game ?
