You uploaded this sooner than I thought you would! This is probably my favourite level crossing this side of Kent by quite a margin (despite being so difficult to predict because of the slow and infrequent trains) - it's a very unique LC having no barriers, though that is mostly made up for by how loud the alarms there are. That sure is one wonky red light on the left-hand wigwag there. Nice catch of the Pride of GBRF and some nice end-of-video pictures too. Awesome video! 👍😁
Thank you 😁 Well I liked the video a lot so thought I'd publish right at the start of the new year. It was good to finally film this crossing again after two years 👍
Lovely to see a bit of my family's farm in this clip. Not been there in 14 months due to Covid. I've only known of 2 casualties on the crossing, 1 our pet peacock 🦚 Jack who was probably showing off to the train and my dad's dog which happened years before I was born and he saw it happen and couldn't stop it, I think she was deaf or blind and thought to train had gone and tried to cross too early.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel i went past it today. My dad and i went to drop someone off to stansted airport. When we heading back home it was heading us to Cambridgeshire. We went through maxey and helpston. I asked my dad if i could film it and he said it was ok.
Actually i think the UK does not have a lot of non barrier crossings compared to France.... we even have some on high traffic 2 tracks line... and they don't have any lights, that's very dangerous. I love UK crossings because you absolutely can't miss them, the lights, the siren are very eye catching... compared to the small french blinking light and bell.
Thank you 😁 It's quite unique as it's a mainline crossing without any barriers. I didn't realise I hadn't changed the Freightliner train operator part of the description, but I've changed it now 😊
Oh what I mean by mainline is national rail network instead of a heritage railway. You usually see crossings without barriers on quiet freight lines or heritage / miniature railways. Sorry for the confusion but this line really isn't busy, only a couple of trains a day 😉
Like the video and I hope you won't mind me pointing out that this line runs from 'Hoo Junction' which in turn lies between Gravesend and Higham Stations - Hoo Junction is about 7 miles/20 minutes away by road to Hoo. The line serves Thamesport (Isle of Grain) and Brett Aggregates (Cliffe).

Ah cool. Sad to hear about them incidents, one of the drawbacks of this crossing not having any barriers I guess.
Great vid! I getting helpston and maxey level level crossing ready!
Thanks 😎 Nice, did you film them recently?

@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Just uploaded Maxey Level Crossing if you want to see it!
Ah cool
👍
I love this crossing it’s one of my favorite in Kent😍
It's my favourite too :)
Beautiful
Thanks Vladimir 😄
Nice shot!
Thanks 😁
Nice it’s quite interesting how we still have a lot of non-barrier road crossings in the UK
Thanks 😎 Yeah, there is still a few around. There was a lot more open crossings in the 2000s, but thankfully they've not all been changed.

Yeah, I find them really interesting for those reasons.
Wybourne? That's the name of the guy from Coraline!
Are you talking about that animated film Coraline?
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel That's the one. The film about the fake parents with creepy button eyes. Well it's actually stop-motion
Ah yeah, I thought so, watched that a few times. I'm pretty sure the boy is actually called Wybie rather than Wybourne but it's close enough lol
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel "Wybie" is his nickname that's short for Wybourne
Ah I see, didn't know that 😉
Cool video, that is an interesting crossing👍. Nice 66 to😄.
Is says in the description Freightliner but it is actually GBRf😉.
Thank you 😁 It's quite unique as it's a mainline crossing without any barriers. I didn't realise I hadn't changed the Freightliner train operator part of the description, but I've changed it now 😊
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel It’s a main line crossing❓ Wow, it’s only a single track so that is one small main line😂.

@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Oh, okay. I see what you mean now👍.
Nice
Thanks 👍
Love the crossing,
That class 66 was delivered on12/02/16, I love those locomotives 🚂👍
Ah that's cool 👍
Riley will be happy lol. Great video
I hope he will, nice crossing and rainbow train lol, thanks 😁
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel 66720 is better, watch my channel everyone reading this I put 0 effort in unlike UKLCC over here
oh and that train is 66773 GBRf not Freightliner 😂😂
Maybe my effort is why I have a lot more views hmmmm 😂
I changed the description about 10 minutes after it came out
Nice video. I hope you get 100k
Thank you 😊 I hope so one day. I also subscribed to your channel. Any level crossing videos coming soon?
Ah ok

Wow! Amazing crossing stay safe. 2021 now!
Thank you 😁 Yes it is 2021 now. Thankfully I have loads of videos I've filmed in 2018, 2019 and 2020 to publish whilst in lockdown.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Yea we need to stop this corona virus!
Great video and crossing!
Thanks! 😁
Wyborne is the best
It's one of my favourite crossings in Kent 😊
Super Video!😀👍
Thank you! 😁👍
Great
Thanks 👍

Thanks for the information 👍
I like seeing mini trains 👍
👍
Thank
@Alvin Huang who are u!
Alvin Huang The trains seen on that narrow-guage railway I've filmed are bigger than you think. Anyone can travel in them.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel yep you are right
The fact that there’s no gates or barriers gives me anxiety
Not many vehicles or pedestrians use this crossing as its on a track leading to a farm. The alarms are quite loud so you'd know when a train is coming
Great video 👍
Thanks 😎👍
5th :)) great vid!!
Thanks 😎👍
I don't see the UK crossing with ❌!
Are you referring to the crosses on the lights? They are only seen at UK crossings which don't have any barriers.
Where does the track go to ?
It goes from Hoo to ports in Grain (Isle of Grain) in north Kent.
@@UKLevelCrossingsChannel Thanks for replying, is it still used today, as our goods/freight seems to be disappearing.
Yeah it is, a couple of trains use this line each day (Monday - Saturday).
Another roblox crossing icon!
(Overused alarm combination.)
