The thing that gets me about his game is how efficient he is with his stick handling, he rarely overhandles the puck. Which is a common problem among the elite skilled players.
He had one moment against vegas where he inexplicably tried dangling 3 guys and it turned into a goal the other way, but that's the only one I can think of. It's very rare to see him be stupid with the puck
@@rhyta5042 Kuemper has actually been really nice this year, and so has Francouz. Overall I think the trades we've made recently (Especially this season w Lehkonen, Manson, and Sturm) have been good for us.
@@Devidra48 My comment was 7 months ago, so things are different now. Kuemper had trouble the first 4 months but has become a stellar goalie, which is a pleasant surprise. Francouz has had some shutouts and played well. I feel much better about their quest for the Cup this year🙂🏒
I might be a tad biased but I think it’s one of the best mic moments ever. Someone of his caliber pretty much tipping his cap afterwards. Moment still gets me
Not to be that guy...... but Mcdavid might speed up even faster, the difference is Mackinnon looks so powerful when mcdavid does it without all the hops mackinnon does which probably waste energy but its his style. Looks super strong tho!
@@chrissmitty4844 Thats likely true but I rarely see mcdavid get hit off the puck. Certainly Mackinnon is a proven playoff performer and Mcdavid needs time to develop with his team. Mackinnnon and his team are ahead of the oilers in playoff experience and overall ability.
@@MiK3Y13 As an Avs fan the difference between MacK and McD is so obvious. MacK looks like a runaway freight train when he picks up speed but McDavid looks like he's barely trying and suddenly he's flying. McDavid is the better player obviously, but I love watching MacKinnon every night.
@@snipeshow___8925 if we're talking about offense and points, he's nowhere near Mcdavid level. But if we're talking about overall ability, like physicality, goal scoring, and the defensive side of the game all together, Mackinnon is the best in the league.
@@wizardmgn there's definitely an argument but kuch does less on defense, and is older. I'd expect mack to be much better points wise than kuch next season

that's because he's not a skilled player. he's all power. he doesn't need tricks he's just better than everyone else
@@waterdrinker_ that’s debatable imo because he indeed has a ridiculous power in everything he does but he is a very skilled player

Nate Dawg!
Going to feel so good to see him finally raise the Cup, and hopefully that will come when he is still with the Avs
They need to do it, and do it quick. Or this could be seen as one of the worst star studded teams of this century.
