Scania 143 / 450 ... that was my 1st truck when I began international trucking in the mid ’90 s . 1 000 000 kilometers without any important problem . Powerful , comfortable and reliable truck . I loved it so much !
Mee too, my first truck, the best ever
I don't think any problems are important
My first truck was a '93 143 480, so it was pre facelift. This one is with the facelift, so it's kinda newer. But not much... 😉
I found your channel recently and I’m hooked. Awesome to see the shared love for both American and European trucks. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Gekoloniseerd
Another beautiful road warrior. And as always, no matter the year of manufacture, Scanias always look ahead of their era.!!
143. 14 Liters (V8, ofc), 3 Series.
It's an H so it's a heavy duty spec. They were M, H and E. M are the standard, H is heavy duty and E are for severe duty, special aplications.
Also this one has the streamline bodykit.
Don't forget the prefix "T" for torpedo (or longnose). My dream truck, the T143H with 500 hp :).
He knows from me 🤓
I, thought E spec is for electric, 🤣🤣🤣, hahaha
@@simonpetric4639 😂
The best truck scania ever made, i used to drive one they are just legendary awesome truck's that pull like a train ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Had a couple of these 143,s back in the day in England, legendary power packed trucks.
Donegal is in Ireland ,,,, pronounced " Dunn e gawl " ,,,,,, absolutely love the Scania 143 V8 ,,, love the irish slogan " flat out sir 😎👌👌👍
Ireland Donegal the home of Scania....
I worked for a guy who owned a Scania 143M 450. Awesome truck, which I spent many hours in.
It had a mounted crane on it, made for picking up open top containers.
It didn't look nearly as nice as this one, but it was running well for its age.
Unlike this one, it had a bunk bed sleeper cab.
The 143 was the best scania ever built
My uncle worked for a township in upstate ny and ran a scania the only other ones I remember are two polish guys from Brooklyn NY had a cab over and conventional.they were beasts in the si.landfill never got stuck..
Some sick looking trucks at that truck show. Wish I was there!😀😀😀
Oh boy the 3 series sounds... Best sounds ever!
Great video again Bruce, loved seeing the Scania 143, i used to move these old gels around the UK for Scania as soon as they came off the ferry from Sweden 🇸🇪
Get yourself to Europe or the UK this summer for some of the truck shows Europe style 😎
I from South Africa we love our Scania's
Donegal, dunny-gawl.
The most NW County in Ireland and where I'm from..
Plenty of Scannias over here. Cool to see another one over there and being used hard.
I was thinking that Donegal sounded Irish! Got a bit confused when he said Netherlands, but I guess he meant the Scania.
Nice 143, huge respect to Donegal Services 🇺🇸
my father operated a 1982 Scania 112H until his untimely death in 1990. Lovely truck. Back in 1988 he took the family to Sweden to visit family, once safely back home I learned our suitcases had contained 2 clutch kits from the Scania factory, which he accidentally forgot to disclose to the customs on arrival (probably jet lagged and forgot, honest mistake ;) .
Hi Bruce, the companie you look for is based out of the netherlands. It is Called "CUSTOM MADE TRUCKS HOLLAND" and yes they are on youtube. Hopefully you have enough information now. Greetings from Canada Jon and Rina,
Awesome video, Bruce.
Thanks for sharing.
They have all the red paint in North America on that truck! Looking good!
I saw you at MATS outside at night next to Brutus and got to meet you which was really cool and I’ll remember that for the rest of my life!
That truck with compound turbos nasty kewl
That Scania is mint. I'm pleased to see increasing amount of Scanias on the road in New Zealand.
Pleasure meeting you and the gang. Thanks for the few moments we talked out by Brutus and a hand shake.
a Scania 143 ⭐⭐⭐ The Scania R143 is widely considered to be the best European truck of its time. (Wikipedia).
Love from Sweden 👍🤜🤛 Thank you, you are the best!
For me the absolutely best truck in the 80s/90s in Europe was the iveco turbostar . 480 Hp with a 17L engine, capable of going everywhere with the speed of an arrow. The only problem was the old design of the cab called the model , which derivated from old Fiat Trucks from the 70s (particulary the 691)
Some really neat trucks thanks for sharing
This Streamline facelifting was made to last three years (-94-96) of all 3-series. It was kind of counter attack to Volvo revealing it's first FH model in -93, before revealing 4-series in -95. That V8 engine was impossible to brake by driving. So bullet proof. Brings memories to see that piece of trucking history.
That Scania is 15 minutes away from me and they have others.
lemont right? they have like 4-5 different ones i think.
Same here I drive by there all the time Donegal has some nice trucks
@@Unaccountable 2 R143 Streamline (that 6x4 and a shorter 6x2), 1 R143 8x4 (former 6x2/4), 1 R142 6x2, 1 T112M 6x4, 2 P112H 6x4 (one is a dumper, the other a roll off).
It requires another video. You can’t go wrong with Scania.
I see them on 171 all the time
Thanks for the great videos nice meeting you and talking to you at mats
Actually glad you like Scania. my father used to drive these professionally
Nice job on the coverage to you and your team Bruce!!👍
Looks good for such an oldie. But I have to say I liked that W900 right next to it much better. Apart from the V8 sound of the Scania, I'm more of a DAF person myself. And Petes are for princesses lol
Oooh, the Maximum Overdrive truck!!
Thanks Bruce and Ryan for the great close up high quality pictures and explaining details of these wonderful show trucks. You all film slow enough to see the detail. These owners with their tremendous investments I,m sure greatly appreciate it,
I for one would like to see more of the same featuring USA trucks, but maybe a few less Scania offerings as well as long boring engine rebuilds.
Your a stand up guy and wish you and your crew the best with your new move. This will be a much more professional look for your channel. Oh...and more of the beautiful Amber please !
BRILLIANT Enjoyed that thanks 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
That truck all lit up is beautiful.
Exactly the same as the one I drove before I got my 144.
Gotta love em
Good video . Best one from that show i've seen so far . Tratter Taxi is so awesome . Keep it
I had my driving lessons in the Netherlands in this type of Scania
You cannot beat a Scania!! - The new ones are amazing to live in!!
Bruce, you should come to south Sweden September 6th and 7th. We then have a truck meet called Skåne truckshow. Last year we had more than 1200 trucks. I think you would love it. :)
@BruceWilson - Good to see that there are two guys who knows what they are talking about SCANIA. Make a video together...that would be cool.
Bruce I look forward for all your post.. You never fail me I will look out for what`s next..
Scania were at the top of their game when they produced the 142+143.
They're still making fantastic trucks.❤
Bruce the tractor taxi is Sharp looking truck you put a lot of work into it. I know to be hard to let her go. Enjoy your video. Stay safe.
The Pete with that Fitzgerald Trailer! Looks sweet!
Great video crew!
...nice with some Scania content Bruce👍, many nice and shiny trucks but as a Swede I don't understand why there has to be so much chrome and old school looks on almost all the trucks at an American truck show, haven't checked out the whole video or all the other videos from MATS on youtube but feel that it's many trucks that are the same.....boring single colored cabins and lots of chrome.... .hope you get one of your scanias going and build a fat side mounted exhaust system together with some European paintwork and nice lighting until the next MATS....and remember no Chrome ...we live in 2024 not 1974.....😂
AMAZING trucks!
A whole lot of badass right there
A great looking truck !
AWESOME VIDEO !
Beautiful trucks 🛻
The tratter taxi is too beautiful to be sold
I think it looks great with a dry van trailer behind it and it would look really good with the same color on the trailer
That’s right he should be giving it away.
Tractor Taxi is super nice
12:44 he looks well nourished to me.
Think Bruce found a new best friend lol that's cool
Here’s an idea Brice. Why not take some artistic liberties and create your own Scania out of older Cabover Mack truck?
Good body and create the body lines you want on half the truck and then mimic it on the other side.
You should come to Power Truck Show in Finland..9-10.8.2024
I think I remember seeing this in Ireland for a show called full of the pipe
Was badass getting to see your trucks at mats. The taxi looks even better in person than in your videos man didn’t get a chance to talk to ya but all is good keep the grind going!
keep the clips coming
Awesome video
This is a ‘Streamliner’….!!
Consider it an extra valuable version of the iconic Scania 143 Series!!!
There is a Dutch stil driving his 142/143 up and down Scandinavia and stil making money….
Already 2 years ago the Tacho reached 3.2 Million Kilometres!!!!
In Greece are Still 140 and 141 making Money
@@Greekwolf93 Maybe even more iconic than the 142/143!!!
But lesser known to the present generations….
I hope to assemble my own 1969 Scania 110 Super this year…
Stil the old Torpedo model…
First generation Polish-American from Chicago driving for "Donegal Excavating" - named like a place in in Ireland. 😅
Yes, it should be in the description. Not too many Scanias in the U.S. 👍💯🇸🇪
Hope to see you again at 75 truck show
I was hoping yours was there.
Tratter taxi looked great!
It was
I seen your beautiful blue semi with the tank tracks at the show
Like to see you guys at the 35th and final Waupun trucking show in Wisconsin August 9th & 10th.
I like that Isringhausen seat, have one just like it.
In the late 90,s I did some wild 😅million km,s Sweden, Denmark and Norway in that Scania. But with a common lazy Axel
And 3.55 on the rear
Nice one,
regards
Thom Truck
Nice rockin' outro song😎🤘🏽🤘🏽👊🏽
I grew up in a cabover so to speak my father was a driver I went places with him and when I got older first truck I had was Kenworth Cabover
😎💪 cool stuff bruce
awesome
BEST SCANIA EVER
The Gray 589 on the end dump is local to my area. They had it hauling its first load of road salt Monday morning.
I saw you at the show on Friday. You were buzzing past on the Segway.
The Trader taxi looks good in the dark
Best truck ever
Get to assen truck show in Holland..last weekend in July lots of scanias 😂
Wow them Peterbilts Kenworths and custom built Rigs, are very nice, i also like the Maximum Overdrive replica rig is nice 👍🏾
I cant wait to get back to work You guys the trucks were the trucks were all BadAs😁
Seeing all these realy good looking trucks wants me to renue my licens and get back behind the weel.
@TeIegra.mm.e_Bruce_Wilson7 I never give up! But I have a responsibiity, a heart condition and and a 40 ton truck don´t go well togeather. The manufacturer I´m used to are Scania, MAN, Mercedes and Iveco. The roads I traveld on were from Norway to Italy, form France to Austria. My dream trip with a truck is still from Hamburg in Germany to Johannesburg in South Afrika. The second trip I dream of is to drive a truck around the world.
Great video..Tratter Taxi looks so f*ckin' good.
The tratter taxi looks good with a dry van behind it
Superdikke Scania!❤
Hello from Denmark, i have followed the process of the 4 series Scania. fun fact i work at STIHOLT Scania in Denmark as an apprentice
Hey Bruce that show truck look so good u probably don't want to sale it it a good show truck keep up the great work
Im jus about to finish my tea break and start stripping one of 143-450. Few things needs to be done to get it to perfect condition
i saw that f450 kenworth here in chattanooga tn one morning and i never thought i would see it again guess it was purpose built for MATS
Top video thankyou. Sorry coudn't make it Oz to far away.😎
Is it me you want contacked with.🤔
Hi Bruce
Gotta keep it Bruce
Saw your truck inside at the semi casual booth. I wanted to black out scammers face on the back of it. It brought down the value of that beautiful truck
Super cool video 🖐️👋👍🥰🇨🇿😉
Hey Bruce that Scania 143H is my favourite truck if I had the money I would buy one off them but their isn't too many off them left on the road where I come from.
Saw someone else showing that I was thinking man you did fast work.🤣
No Amber?
The amount of hours they've spent to do those trucks is just crazy.
Hat off for them.
I wouldn't have patience to do that.🤯
