A good chunk of Hermitcraft's fanbase doesn't have an inkling of what skibidi toilet is. I've searched it up and have had it explained to me multiple times, and it feels like it makes less and less sense the more explanations I get (which I didn't think was possible)

It all started in december of i dont remember.. anyways, twitch streamer Kai Cenat's doing a stream. Hes holding a plate of cookies, just having a jolly good time. All of a sudden Fanum bursts through the door, steals his cookies, then leaves.
"fanum tax" was then coined, and it was a popular bit inside that community. But im pretty sure it got mainstream because of the "sticking out your gyatt for the rizzler" meme song, which also popularized all the other terms even more. Although Fanum tax is used less than all the other terms (skibidi, gyatt, rizz), idk why but its probably bc its pretty specific. So a lot of ppl end up not knowing it, leading to it being used less. It's a war drama with some very strange character designs. It's actually not that bad once you get passed the first few episodes. The beginning silliness gives people the wrong impression of what the series is about.

For those wondering:
Skibidi toilet refers to a "race" of creatures that take the appearance of toilets with a human (usually a Gmod asset) head coming out of the hole where water is that can move by sliding around.
Skibidi toilets can be killed by flushing or damaging the human part the usual ways you damage a human. Outside of that regular human/toilet logic applies.
Now for the meta stuff:
Skibidi toilet started as essentially the equivalent to a RUclipsPoop of the titular toilet creature adlibbing tho a well known song and took off on Tiktok, this then merged with the "quick jumpscare at the end of the video" tiktok trend and that's where it started to "create lore"
Nowadays, it's a power-scaling show, much like a Dragon Ball or a One Piece
This is how I feel every day with my younger siblings (I'm Gen Z and they are all Gen Alpha). Their slang doesn't even make sense to me, just like yeet never made sense to my now 40 year-old parents. Grian cracks me up so much in this I can't. Great animation too

Yeah pretty much though there are also radio head people and tv head people who also hate the toilet people. Weird character designs aside, it's actually a pretty engaging war drama.
It's surprisingly much less of an atrocity than it looks like on the surface. It definitely doesn't deserve the sheer popularity it got though.
