exactly what i was looking for THANK YOU
I have a 2024 Model 3 Performance....i've been WAITING for someone to make this exact video. Incredibly informative
Happy to help you get prepared for the winter!
I got the same car and saw this after I bought the VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO because this is what tirerack recommended. For some reason it wasn’t giving the option to recommend the pirellis alpin PA4. However doing a little more research the VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO have very good reviews. I’m going to put them on tomorrow, hopefully they are as good as they say
20 inches btw
What about the tire pressure sensors?
T Sportline - Tesla Upgrades & Accessories, I really enjoyed this video, so I hit the like button!
Thanks for watching
This is a super helpful overview. I just bought a set of T Sportline winter wheels and tires for my Tesla and love them
Glad it was helpful!
@tsportline I know you said you tested the 18s on the model 3 highland but did you try it on the performance?
Great info! 👏👏👏💯💯
Hello I need a new wheel for my Tesla M3P but every wheel on your website shows I back ordered ETA , does that mean I’ll be getting the wheel within those days if I go ahead and order ?
What is your opinion on the VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO 20 inch on a 2024 Tesla model 3 performance?
I’ve been wanting to run a set of studded snow tires on a separate wheels filled with 99% nitrogen. The Michelin x ice seem to be a good fit .
Why do you recommend 42 psi for Tesla snow tires?
Unfortunately the dreaded low tire pressure light illuminates around 36-38 psi. My 5000 car only recommends 30 PSI. Tesla recommends 42 psi to reduce rolling resistance. Tesla model Y (4000 pounds) is not heavy.
Hi! Thanks for the video. Did you test Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 next to the SZ3? I am curious about the difference between them because I don t see them on your list. I understand that PA4 is a lot more quiet
Thanks for making the video! Very helpful. I have a 2024 model 3 performance. I’ve read differing opinions online about using a square setup vs. using a wider rear wheel for the model 3 performance. Will I have any trouble with fitment if I use the square 19” tires you have listed on your website? Are there any considerations that I need to make when installing a square setup on a setup that was previously staggered? Thanks!
Thanks for watching. You can run a square setup without any concern. We’d recommend square for snow tires. Makes for easy front / back rotation as well. You won’t benefit in snow from “wider” rear tires.
Will the 18 inch setup fit the 2024 Model 3 Performance Highland? Tesla only offering 19 inch from what I can tell.
Yes our 18” setup is confirmed for 2024 Highland fitment. We installed a set of our 18” TS5 this week!
@@TSportline any chance you have a picture or 2 of the 18" TS5s on the 24 M3 Performance? I was looking at the TS5's and would to see them on the car. Thank you!
I have their 18" wheels setup on my MYP. I don't see why I shouldn't fit the Model 3 as well
So I just got an MPP 1.8" lift on my model y just so I can get in my driveway. Want to get 18" winter tire package. Should I get 245/50-18 or go to the 255/50-18 you sell on your overland package? I'll just be using mine for winter driving so I didn't need AT tires
Thanks for this video. You kind of glossed over the foam in the Sottozero. I understand that tires with the foam liner are what Tesla provides. Is there an advantage to the foam liner? Perhaps road noise or more stiffness for the heavier car? Thanks
The foam is only for noise reduction. Honestly, we cannot tell a difference in noise with or without the foam. Over the past few years, less and less customers seem to care about the foam. I would say it's purely subjective at best - no strong evidence if it making a notable difference. We recommend focusing on the snow tire performance, much more important than ever so light difference in noise. hope this helps!
@@TSportline Thanks. Really appreciate the reply.
If you purchase a wheel and tire combo, do they come balanced already?
Yes for sure! All our wheel and tire packages are “no touch” mounted and road load balanced
Most Tesla owners recommend Nokian hakapalitas r5 for Tesla model 3. How come they’re not on your list? Thanks
Can I buy 18" wheels for my 24 model 3 performance and use my studded snow tires from my old model 3 LR even though it comes with 20" rims? and do I need a spacer for the back since it uses a staggered setup for the summer?
Aren't the tires specs different front/rear? I have M3P 2024 and the front are 235 35 20 and the rear are 275 30 20
@TSportline What is your suggestion for the Cybertruck for a 100% winter tire? I don't think the winter package Tesla propose is optimal for winter driving.
Check out our 20" wheel and tire packages with 2 winter tire options available to choose from:

I’ve run Duratrac on multiple vehicles and they are excellent in the snow.
How come you don't recommend Michelin Alpin 5 for Model Y?
It's a fine tire too, not many people going for 20' or 21" snow tires, that's our only hesitation - 18" or 19" is better for snow.
@TSportline actually I am getting them (Michelin Alpin 5 SUV) in 19" for my Xpeng G6 Performance. Good to know you also think they are fine.
Will winter tires 255/45/R20 MYP fit?
I don't see why it shouldn't. I have 245/50/R18 on mine. LOL
😍
thanks
Not true, Tesla Model 3 is about the same weight of BMW M3.
What’s status my tire that I order? Wheels with snow tire? U guys charged my credit card already.
What is your order number, i can check and email you! or email us at support@tsportline.com
Hi Brian. Sorry but your presentation is a “buyer’s guide” as to snow tires, possessive, not plural. If there are more than one guide, then it is “buyers’ guides.” Have a nice grammar day.
