I'm glad he took a second to think there. It shows he's more likely to have matured and learned his lesson that spinning and downplaying his part.
Getting older, I'm at a point where my individual passions are something that makes partners feel like an impediment - or I always have to find pockets of time away from away from them to do the things that give me personal fulfillment. In my last two especially, they both strongly vocalized their frustrations with me only spending weekends with them.
From my viewpoint - between working all day, and devoting my evenings to my passion projects/side hustles - I gave every second of my spare time to them. Ultimately when it became an ultimatum between them or my goals, I always chose my goals. I'm making peace with the idea that I have to do this phase solo and can only put time into relationships when I can be more giving with my time. Not sure if or when that will be tho tbh

Holy fk no way, this is the same story as me😂 I met Nicole as well as a freshman and we recently broke up this August. It was our graduation last Monday and it will probably the last time I see her. Holy shit 99% same story lol only the fact that we had different Nicoles are the difference. I also learned my lesson, she was my first and never knew how to handle a relationship

Depends, sometimes goes away in a year or two, sometimes it takes 5 years or so .. In the end it goes away sooner or later, especially if you meet somebody else ..
@@TheHigherSpacethis. Y'all need to meet somebody else. It helps a LOT. Gotta get back into the proper state of mind then get out there and try to talk to people. Work out, work on yourself. The only breakup that's really tough is your first, after that you realize that person you thought was THE one wasn't in fact the only one. There's lots of people out in the world you'll be compatible with, and there's a high chance you'll find someone you like more later on as you date more
