Dude! Athena is absolutely amazing! And her personality is hilarious! If you plan to make stories with her I will gladly watch and listen to them! I can see a story where she had to take some sort of abandoned amusement part ride away from an abandoned circus and she gets super curious about the place and tries to learn more about it while making her delivery
Athena looks great, cutting down a model, using plasticard, and modifying the chassis is not easy, but the end product looks great. I would love to see a scene where your trying to tell Athena to do something, and she refuses until your fiancée steps in and asks, would be a funny scene. Hope to see the loch fleet grow, and the line flourish. Keep it real man
As someone who's also made a small engine from scratch, albeit in wooden railway form, I love seeing custom characters that could exist in the world of TTTE, and I know how it feels to create your own. I enjoy hearing about Athena's build process, and she looks great.
She looks absolutely amazing. I like the name 'Lady of The Loch' would make for a good story. Speaking of story, there's a lot of potential for one of her.

I just want to say congratulations for kit bashing an engine successfully
If I may offer one piece of advice, perhaps some greebles or detail on the running board, just to break up the empty space there and distract the eyes from the motor. Beyond that, fantastic work.
Making her name even more fitting, Percy can be short for Perseus, another part of greek mythology.

Looks cool and I like your OC
Been awhile since you last did an OC and I really like Athena! The name fits and I like how you already established that she was once in the military. Honestly, engine's with a name from Greek mythology working for the War Department just fits. I actually am in the process on looking for a model for an OC mine that has a similar background but mine is a 2-8-0.

I would say this that Athena does look like something Neilson & Co. would sell "off the peg" to private or industrial firms while being derived from the CR 264 class (historically a Neilson product). Maybe a Neilson & Co. builder's plate might be a finishing touch but it's your model and it's your decision what gets added or removed from it.
Sounds like Athena has the infamous Napoleon complex. XD

Not only is she a gorgeous little engine, but she's based on my favorite train.
So with that bias included, she gets an A++ rating, a gold star, and the general assumption that had the Reverend been alive to see and understand RUclips, he would request permission to incorporate her into the RWS.
That last sentence is Fighting words, I know, but I'm biased whenever someone uses a Caledonian pug in any capacity.
I once met someone that said Thomas was always an E2 and never a J50, and he said that Henry was a jubilee just bc he had splashers 💀 Thomas was an E2 bc he was illustrated wrong and Henry had the splashers in the tv show bc they had two boilers for Henry, one for his old shape which used the splashers and the new shape one, which used the splashers yet in some shots he didn't have the splashers, and I told this person that and he didn't agree and said I was wrong, I then figured out he had never heard of the RWS, and I told him about it and uh, yea he just left after I proved him wrong
