Brilliant answer to my question. Somehow we all know the truth and the answers, sometimes they happen now sometimes they happen later. When the time is right. Spiritual growth is a beautiful feeling and experience.

Thank you, your channel has been a great discovery. I have watched this video right after "Sadhguru Talks About Importance of Being Alone and Being Silent" and you both have been an important inspiration to me today, just what I needed.

If you are struggling to cope in society then you will struggle even more in an Ashram. They are not oasis of peace and tranquility. All of your inner weaknesses will be exposed and magnified. 98.95% of ashrams are not ashrams. 98% of Gurus are not Gurus. When you find your true Guru he will tell you all about ashrams.

Wow thank you so much for this! I am so glad to have come across this video🙏. I have also been contemplating ashram life, the so called social norms of life have become so mundane and unappealing for me. I have a better than average paying job, a good home, a vehicle so as far as finance is concerned, I am more than satisfied. But with that all comes unwanted bickering, arguments, resentment, competition (whether you are in it or not) just so much of hate and anger and agitation or irritability. I look at the rat race of my life in its current state and I question is this what I want? Is this a way to live a life? There must be more to it! More substance, more meaning and purpose but most importantly more peace. Whether it is inner peace or peace within my environment, I guess that I'm seeking both. 1 would affect the other. I am seeking oneness with myself, I have throughout my life conducted certain bit of sadhna which gave me a sense of peace and bliss, making a change in someone else's life. Maybe that is the life that I need in order to achieve the peace, bliss and oness that I desire. - Hari Om 🙏

I am a 17 years old girl and want to leave this comfortable life and cut all the connection with this society, family, friends. Can I join the ashram? Will I be able to live there? What would be my identity there?

I am actually planning for Isha Sadanapada program on a break, and currently registered for Inner Engineering online.
Could you please suggest what should I do to improve my chances of my application approved for the Sadanapada program?

It is better to stay in an ashram on payment basis. Everything is commercial these days.
