Those l98 aluminum headed tuned port engines are actually quite torquey , my dad has owned his 88 c4 corvette anniversary for ever , it's the all white one body interior and wheels . He loves it . Great cars for short money . That one seems to be a nicely kept example .how can anyone go wrong for a car like that for entry level money .👍
@@aidenog7380 The L98 only had 250 horsepower, so it wouldn't be considered fast by today's standards. It was a first step away from the smog-era engines, but the LT1 engine that came a few years later was a quantum leap in performance.
Its funny how the C4 does not get much respect you can see it in some of the comments hear, I have a 92 with the LT1 and I love the car it handles well has good pick up and my 6 speed can lay rubber in the first 2 gears and maybe 3rd too but when I did it I ran out of road and if you want speed it does not like 6 until after 65 and even at that its bogging some does it have issues sure don't they all and I bet its a more comfortable ride then the 3 models before it as long as you can slide into the bath tub and roll out onto the ground to get out lol Someone will be happy with this car and wont blow his lunch money to buy it.
My favorite affordable ones are 70’s and would love an 80-82 but I’d not mind one of these. Price seems very reasonable but unfortunately wife thinks I have enough toys. She’s so silly. Maybe should have you wrap it up and send it my way.
I think this is one of your biggest bargains since I've been watching. These C4s are typically either not taken car of or have been well taken car of. This is obviously the latter. Everything seems to be in good working order and most of the flaws are cosmetic and mostly minor. Nothing worse than you would see on a decent used car about 5 to 8 years old, which is great for a car over 30 years old. Get that AC working and you have a genuine bargain in the performance and collector world. Just have fun and drive it as is and maybe when your done, give it a quality respray and a little tickle and you'll do well. Nice pickup. Knew the horn would work on this one. Someone loved her. I mean, who trades in a car with a full tank? That's love. If it comes in on fumes, that's a bitter owner trying to squeeze the last dime out of a headache. Cheers!
Hi Nick. For future reference, what does it cost to ship a '67 Chevelle to 02537 from your shop? Nice 1989 / C4 . Got to be the most under rated car on the road. I have a 1996 LT-1 that I love and would never sell. That '89 looks great and will make someone a happy driver this Spring. Take care Bud.
Curious about the speakers and radio. Couldn't tell if the rims have curb rash. Antenna doesn't work and that headlight motor is failing. But it is a very nice car for the age. My 89 has 275000 miles and still strong with a solid drive train. I put it on NCM track last year and it performed great for its age. Whoever gets will be pleased, I believe, but will need to spend a little on it.
OMG!! This looks amazing and that price is great. I'm looking for a C4 because I like the classic look, I'm shocked there's no rust . Just worried if the dash panel lights will hold up
I would love this car however I have been told by everyone that I am just to big to even begin to be comfortable and you need the ground just to get out 🤣😅
@Jeff Spicolli well I was that weight in high school and I am beyond three fifty for decades now as well as being over 6 4 , they are miserable to get out of .....for me
@Jeff Spicolli great story , in Vegas I went to a rent exotic cars place they asked me to leave 🤣😅🤪, said I was to tall , to heavy and my feet were to big!! No car for me ! 😄😀
Perfect entry point to classic car collecting. Very nice condition and price. Thanks for the ride Nick.
Hell I’ll buy that just for the full tank
I always liked the digital instrument cluster on these Vettes! The chassis on this one is spotless. This is a good buy for a classic car.

2 years too late. I so would've jumped on that one.
Nice old C4.
Underneath too is one of the CLEANEST YET DAM GOOD CAR......
Whoever had that car took really good care of it that would be a nice Corvette for my collection
"Little red corvette, baby you're much too fast". Cheap thrills. A lot of car for the money. Would make a killer graduation present.
Wow that's got to be sold already it's a beauty 😎✌️

Nice car, especially considering 89 coupe's were $ 31,525.00
They were less because of 84 was 21,000
Does the top come off like on the
I want one of these so bad such a beautiful car
Nice car for 9k good vid man.
Low end torque pretty good for an ‘89, actually surprised with the features for a ‘89, 4 wheel disc with ABS, great starter car for 9 grand.
As a corvette owner i can say that one drives nice as hell, engine sounds and performs as intended.

Fuck, my 89 has 21,000 miles (twin of this car) and mine stays broke down. Swear every time I drive it something breaks.
This engine sounds really good.

No rust due to aluminum and plastic and fiber glass build
I have a red 92 Corvette. I love to drive it.
Thankyou for reviewing cars under 10k
Wheels are mixed up they are directional, small problem but fixable.
I noticed that too. The front wheels are on the wrong sides. The backs are correct though.
4.19 here in Tampa for 87 today
Wow ss gas today was 279 in Ohio
Pretty nice car overall for the year
Nice car. Very affordable. Probably sold by now.
What do you think a similar example with a manual transmission would sell for?
Rear hatch carpet wear from golf clubs in and out.
thats awesome
golf clubs your correct on that one
The last year before air bags and the bread box on the dash!
The front rins are place incorrectly
Wow that is a sweet Corvette at a good price !!! Thanks for the ride Nick !!!
Wow this car won't last long at all,👍 Nick very nice ride 🔥 for the price you can't beat that.
