Im 52 and recovered from 4 back surgeries from a wreck with a semi truck. My 79 Trans am didn't survive but me and my brother did. Thank God. I have saved up 8 grand and im starting to look for a vette. I always told myself when i could drive again I'd buy a corvette and ive been saving for a year.
Disagree with your comment about the C4 being the last of the raggedy vettes..The C3 was the last one. The C4 was the beginning of the tighter fit..but we all are entitled to out opinions. :)

Beautiful car…. I love c-4’s.
I'd keep a 1/4 inch impact with the torque bit head and save 1/2 the time taking off and putting on the top

Only good thing about 1989 was the ZF 6 speed & brilliant red metallic , the interior was horrible. 1990 Corvette was way better by far...
