My proudest achievement as a gamer is completing the Pantheon of Hallownest and it took me days to do, countless practice runs in the Hall of Gods against Pure Vessel, NKG and AbsRad. To see it trivialized like this is somewhat disheartening.
I went through pantheon 5, easily killed nkg and no hit pure vessel, just to get squished by absolute radiance. I am still yet to beat it, even in the hall of gods
New to the Hollow Knight community (in that I've played it and thoroughly enjoy it). Have watched a few of your videos and appreciate the knowledge share. Thanks.

I love the bits where you whistle the songs playing as you traverse the rooms, and your voice is really chill, even when malding due to time loss. I love listening to your voice in the background. i only finished the game quite recently, never did that last pantheon, because i was already struggling hard on the 4th. pretty impressive speedrun, even though the game is still fresh in my mind, many skips or just movements in general felt way over my head. took me 3 days to finish watching this, while you finished it in one 3 hours sitting, so thanks for that and belated GG.
Hearing the idea about racing in other speedrunners games gave me an idea. What if speedrunners face off by speedrunning both games, the game they are comfortable in and the new game they learn from the speedrunners they are facing. That way we can see a high skilled run and a learning run and the times will equal out.
I find it amazing that what took me 5 hours is done in 11 minutes here… sure I have a couple extra grubs and sly but other than that… I’m planning to check back here every few days and see how much I can watch before hitting anything that’d be spoilers

On my first playthrough, I got 12 essence in colo3. All the bellflies gave essence and the remaining essence came from the suicidal frogs
