can confirm palm sanders are slow - make me fall asleep slow. I just bought this a few hours ago to use during my 250 year old Japanese Samurai house reform. Looking forward to less time wasted sanding!

Thanks. Great review. And @11:50 is great advice: Do Not buy cheap tools! Better to get a used hi-Quality old tool, than a cheap, flimsy new tool. Would be great if you could do a shootout of a Makita 9404 vs the Makita 9403.Also, suggestion: more video and CU's of the unit sanding, operating, being handled.
