The problem with BE FORWARD sellers programs as I was told by them, not necessarily a problem, but, a restriction, is that people can only purchase and have their car shipped to them ‘IF’ the car is 25 years old or older. That means, anything from the year 2000 and under. Like 1999, 1998, 1997, etc.
Who wants a car that old?
The great thing about BE FORWARD is that they handle all the paperwork for you and guide you through the process. I think what I learned from this video is that, that may be the law and restrictions between Japan and America. But, in the video, I saw where someone in the illustration clicked on Kenya out of the many countries listed to buy Japanese cars as another location where you can order from other than Japan. I will have to research that to see if that’s a loophole from having to order and purchasing an older car.
Possibly, ordering from another country other than Japan where this restriction applies might be the way to go. We’ll see!
