A viewer from my last video asked how durable are UltraSabers lightsabers. I thought it would be a good idea to explain the different blades that they offer and their strengths!
In this video I test the different strengths of the mid grade and heavy grade blades. I also explain the differences between them so that you can made the right decision when buying yours!

Hi I’m also from the UK and do you have to pay extra for shipping or not and also how long does it take to be shipped to the UK?
Yeah you got to pay shipping it’s about $30-$40 for me the shipping was about 2 weeks which wasn’t too bad
MoZoneMo argh that’s annoying that means it goes up to from £80 pound to like £115
Yeah it’s really annoying plus you have to pay £20 import charge when it arrives here
MoZoneMo wait does I’ve just paid £80 for a lightsaber and have to pay for shipping of £30 and another £20 for immigration so now it costs me £130 well now I’m not going to get one unless there’s a sale.😡
They actually aren’t weightless, in a web mini series, George Lucas said himself that the blades are quite heavy, that’s why he wanted most of the combat to be 2 handed, because he believes they would weigh a lot

@@MoZoneMo the blade or the hilt... Blade seems weightless the hilt of course had weight
yes but as you connect with it, it gets lighter and easier to handle.
There was ONE saber in legends that was weightless, but yea the rest sucked for it lol

weightless, yes. But Lucas stated that there is a resistance when moving them, like air friction x 10, due to the massive amount of energy in the blade.
Heavy blades are better because if u are doing spins or agility work with it then u don’t have to force it to move as much.

I bought a mid grade blade and it hold up for duelling fine
I ordered one with the ultra edge heavy grade
Probably a good idea I should’ve gone for that to begin
I'm not getting the ultraedge since they say it dulls your color, I want my blades to be bright. Heavy grade should be just as durable.

@@MaidOfTheSquadron so they themselves claim it dulls the blade when it doesnt? That's odd, but good to know, I dont really understand what makes the ultra edge blades special anyway it doesnt say they're more durable.
@@ralcogaming7674 the most ive seen it dulls it very slimly its not very noticeable from what ive seen unless your really trying to look for the light difference but if your just using it its very hard to notice

They seem good for something that looks good and functions to duel with, without having to spend twice as much like other brand of nice looking sabers tend to cost. Especially the grab bag or mystery box.
Yeah apparently the company are not that great so I personally can’t recommend them but there are loads of other good places

I've heard you can buy clear heavy grade polycarb tubes and sand them so they look frosted, that way they'll be brighter and more durable

That’s for neopixel blades. Doesn’t effect durability it does make them brighter though
im just looking for a simple saber for my cosplay, im on a budget and these seem pretty good regardless of what is said about the company. im thinking of the 16 inch mid grade, and im curious to see what it can offer.

Ultrasabers screwed me over pretty spectacularly so I won't be doing business with them ever again. And after reading the reviews from their employees on how they are treated at work (on Indeed), I don't think anyone else should either. And after seeing the number of people that they have been straight up scamming in the last 5 months (on r/lightsabers), I think it's time for the fandom to do something about it.

I'm thinking of getting one to mess with kids at an indoor airsoft field but hope that I don't break it running around or if it gets shot.. just want one that looks good and durable at the same time.

I own a Ultrasaber and its Awesome! Teaching my daughter to duel. VERY durable personally tested... Happy customer.... Emerald sound set up with Ultra Heavy dueling blades.. AWESOME! Sound feel everything..

As long as you don’t hit it with the tip of the blade like I did you should be okay!
If they meditate with the crystals a lot then the crystals will move with the owner by anticipating it's moves

I ordered a saber frim them but refunded the purchase a month after I bought it because it was a birthday present and it didn’t come in time plus they were not replying to us and about 2 months later now it came and they acknowledged that so I guess i got a free one

Right ultra edge heavy or heavy best for duels
They’re almost identical, it just depends if you want a fuller looking blade then go for ultra edge

I use darth mauls fighting style in duels because it gives me stronger hits because your using the weight of your blade to have more force in your hits and mauls form is all about speed and strength.
