When you ask a question about the way someone sounds use "what" instead of "how". So "What does this smart guy sound like?" is preferred compared to "How does this smart guy sound like?" Or you could remove the word "like". So that would be "How does this smart guy sound?" Pedantic? Yep - but correct grammar is kind of important. I realise English is likely not your first language.
@@makeitsavory9439 Yes I understood him as well. Which would have been very obvious from how I went about letting him know the correct English to use. That is not the point. There is a wrong way and a right way. Which way would you prefer to do things?
@@VestigialHead I'd rather do things the "wrong" way, then I can argue with people until they eventually realize that language is completely made up and full of flaws to begin with, and that so long as someone isn't writing a resume to freaking Google, it is sufficient for a youtube comment to simply convey a message and not care about what and English professor would think. Come to think of it, our language structure is actually an incorrect and incomplete form of old English. Try speaking that.
CaryKH did a very similar project for automatically animating videos from a sound file voiceover. I believe he open-sourced the whole thing. Check out his channel for more.
The voiceover was surprising at first and it was hard to recognize the things you say as english, but throughout the first minute of the video i got used to it and it was perfectly fine. Really helps to sell the content.
I love your little avatar! Some have commented that it looks off, and while I disagree, I bet a reason for that is that the jaw doesn't hinge back far enough. The jaw joint is deep in the skull, not just beyond the mouth corner, in chickens and people both. You would have to add a cheek graphic (yes, chickens have cheeks). This also gives you an opportunity to add cheek stretching physics if you like.
I absolutely love the guidance on how to synchronize audio with animation - definitely going to try that one myself. I also laughed way too much watching a chicken talk to me. The effect is great!
Great work! I think making the head move ever so slightly (even when not saying anything) would really sell it. Right now it's a little weird how still it is.
why is it always the guys with the accents you've never heard in your entire life that are geniuses? (you sound good, can't wait to watch your videos with a chicken head narrating in the corner!)
Very cool! I'm impressed by how well it worked to just boxcar the amplitude. I always thought it took fancier speech analysis to auto-animate a talking character.
I learned something new today! As you can see from my profile picture I also like chickens, but I was not aware that the things under their beaks are called wattles 😄. The more you know!
This is awesome man. Great voice + english, and you can explain in much more detail without heaps of text. More personality in the vid too which is always a good thing
As an animator, I find it hilarious! Next time, consider drawing several mouth shapes or phonemes, as the artists call them and replace the drawings depending on the sound. Even more important is to animate the accents. Rotate the head, make the glasses jump etc. The more expressive the point in the speech, the more pronounced should be the animation. Good luck, fellow animator!
He could've just done a voice-over, but instead he decided to pull a 200 IQ move and get a png of a chicken to do it for him. Love the content!
A talking chicken... they said it couldn't be done... but there it is. I love the wattles!
Thank you! Science is amazing :D
Such as soothing voice! Can't wait to see your work with the voice-overs!
Thank you very much!
@@PezzzasWork You better use this bird in every video from now on xD
BECOME PNG TUBER XD
"Hello it's me pezzza let me show you my work" - the chicken
Finally we can hear your voice, great work, commentary is great too
Thank you!
Such a fun voice reveal! As others have mentioned, the audio was a bit low. Hope to see more in the future.
the moving tongue adds so much to it. I can't wait to see the chicken voiceover appearing in more vids
Ever since I watched your first video I always wondered: "How does this smart guy sound?". Thanks for showing me, you sound great!!

Here we have a talking chicken, with physically based wattles.
Cool chicken talking strategy
Love your accent man! Are you from France? I'm Spanish and it reminds me of that.
Yes I’m French, probably the hardest accent to hide !
CaryKH did a very similar project for automatically animating videos from a sound file voiceover. I believe he open-sourced the whole thing. Check out his channel for more.
Wonderful! I had to turn my volume up much higher than normal so take a look at your audio levels. Thanks for sharing your art. And the drawing too 😉
The voiceover was surprising at first and it was hard to recognize the things you say as english, but throughout the first minute of the video i got used to it and it was perfectly fine. Really helps to sell the content.
Just learned that chickens have a wattle.
it is not possible that there is a person like me

Le superbe accent franchouillard de nos régions ! Magnifique.
You're the only one I know who can make a voice reveal exciting. Keep up the great work!
Wattle physics on a talking chicken avatar. Things I never knew I needed in my life.
Great video, and a good voice over! 😁
i am really excited for the videos with voiceover!
"Hello guys. Quandale chicken here. Today I'm going to teach you how to simulate tax evasion"
The way of speaking, subtle comedy, complex ideas expressed very simply, I think you may be a main character in an Andy Weir book.
imagine if he just yelled at the top of his voice and the beak unhinged like a monster
A talking chicken?! I'm a simple man. Here! Have my up vote!
I loved it, it's great to hear your voice! As always I'm on the edge of my seat for what you'll do next :) !
Really nice video, and damn was'nt ready for a french voice reveal !
I absolutely love the guidance on how to synchronize audio with animation - definitely going to try that one myself. I also laughed way too much watching a chicken talk to me. The effect is great!
I enjoyed this way more than I expected. Tysm
Great work! I think making the head move ever so slightly (even when not saying anything) would really sell it. Right now it's a little weird how still it is.
I am unreasonably excited for your future work, now that there's a talking a chicken!!!
I mean I'm always pumped for a new video anyway but dang
I don’t know why the wattle moving is so funny but it is.
Damn, i always leave these videos wanting more! Nice job man!
That's so cool ! I can't wait to see other voice-overs videos !
The way this calm voice synced with SWAG-chicken head is hillarious :D
Voice is very soothing. The french accent is hearable but honestly that's what makes your voice's charm
Awesome stuff as always. Loved the voice over!
Beautiful. It was a delight to watch this development.
Super bien expliqué, merci !
Cette vidéo est purement géniale ! Cela me donnerait presque envie d'essayer quelque chose de similaire (en moins bien) dans mon coin.
Great work! Congratulations! 😁
Your a big inspiration love your stuff
Continues le bon boulot, c'est top 👍
very cool!
go on with this format 👍
This video deserves 1M views. Bravo
The result looks nice. It is one of those things you could add to a game to make fun animation scenes with text and voice. Congrats!
why is it always the guys with the accents you've never heard in your entire life that are geniuses? (you sound good, can't wait to watch your videos with a chicken head narrating in the corner!)
Sound perfect, wattle perfect!
…je me suis rarement autant marré devant une de tes vidéos 😂
Je suis très fier de mes wattles 😁
Another great piece of work 🎨🖌

Great stuff as always and kudos for finally using your voice.
Really cool result!
The chicken is indeed a descendant of the T Rex.
Wow! That turned out even better than I expected. From physics to cartoons, what can't you do?
Good video. Love them wattles swinging to your voice. Noice
C'est vraiment très cool. Je suis jaloux.
Amazing result!

you voice is awesome but the sound is a bit low, I can't wait for some more commentary of your work :D
Looking great! Can't wait for more
This is excellent! I'm surprised how such a simple model can really sell the illusion that it is the chicken who is talking.
great stuff you do! : )
Wow! Excited for your new content! :D
You need to raise your gain to about 2x, boss.
Thanks for all your work.

Yeah, this is cool. Nice face reveal.
Now I know the voice behind the code that was inspiring me.
Your voice will make the videos even better (which I didn't know was possible)
That is so fricking cool
