Please be a role model and don't say "Porsch" - there's an "e" at the end which I never understood why native English speakers leave out. There's no "silent e" in German (technically there is, like in love-Liebe, but only after an "i") 🙂 You even said it correctly in the plural.
Yes, I know that's nitpicking, but nonetheless - it bugs me because it just sounds strange.

As a former Basic Hawk missile repairman I know the introduction of Hawk into the Ukraine theater is going to cause the Russians massive headaches. Especially when Ukrainians figure out how to integrate HAWK batteries with Patriot batteries. HAWK is still a potent weapon system, and a lot more economical than Patriot so Ukraine can deploy them into areas they might be leery of placing a Patriot battery.

Sounds about right, though from what Artur said, they're already using them, thus the need for spares. That said, while the basic system's 60+ years old, Unlike in Russia, such technology isn't frozen in time, and plenty of improvements have been made along the way. Maybe not anything major, but I seriously doubt they depend on tubes and discrete transistor tech, which was all they really had in the '60s.
If I'm wrong about that, please let me know, but Artur also said that the missiles themselves are still in production, and it'd be cheaper, easier, and better to use modern electronics in current productions, so knowing the details matters, at least to this old Tactical Wideband Radio technician (USAF).

One reason Putin want UKR is because it is a breadbasket country like Russia. By taking a large part of UKR's agricultural area, they can help control the grain markets and cause price rises and use grains as a bargaining chip. A grain OPEC.

The point of Russian propaganda isn’t to actually make anyone believe what you are saying, but to make you feel tired, weary, hopeless and to just give up on politics completely. Post-Truth Populism.
This is actually different from Soviet propaganda which genuinely tries to make listeners believe it (Soviet propaganda songs are actually well-made. Russian Federation-songs are so cringy that they are painful to listen to. They are now played frequently in Russian schools and the students just look bored out of their minds)

Come to think of it, that's literally what terraforming means, so luckily we are way ahead of the game. Our scientists and workforce are helping countries all over the world to do the same (we'll skip Russia though). (@Artur Rehi) it is said (by psychologists and people who observe Putin since a longer time!) Putins diagnosis is "covert narcisist" = Narcistic Personality disorder. Some people differenciate Narcistic Personality disorder further, as some people with this diagnosis appear very different. E.g. Donald Trump looks like how most people would think a Narcisist looks like (overexaggerated sense of grandiosity + greatness). Whereas Putin has the symptoms of Narcisistic Personality Disorder (NPD) but does not show this full blown sense of grandiosity + vainness... But he has all the other symptoms of: Lack of empathy for others, no compassion, no / little social skills, striving for might + power, taking severe revenge on all people who say or do something that is against him / expose him; lying+ cheating; no ability to remain + hold functioning + healty relationships ( he is toxic in relationships- has a number of short term relationships, affairs...!) Plus another thing / symptom is: low self esteem which NPD's cover up with lying, cheating, big arrogant talk, intimidation of others. Mistrust of others as NPD's are always afraid others find out that in fact they are not confident + know less than what they show off... distorsion of truth and twisting reality are also typical for NPD + blameshifting = always other people are guilty if things go wrong, but never they themselves and they really believe some of the distorted stuff they share - incorrect awarenss. I myself thought for a long time that he sufferes from Paranoid Personality disorder until I watched an English- German TV documentary of him with political observers + psychologists that observe him since a long time and they all said he has NPD. With all the infos of this Putin documentary it made sense why they claimed he has NPD. Often a person can have a combination of two Personality disorders = I now believe he suffers from NPD + paranoid Personality disorder = since many years he has people checking the water of his swimming pool, he is not flying, massive fear of any bacteria + virus = germophob = so that all visitors need to go into quarantine + need to disinfect themselves before seeing him +.... many symptoms that make a combination of these 2 diagnoses pretty safe... BUT if you search for reasons why people lye so much + so severely then as an answer you will always find NPD = this makes patients lie + even believe a number of their own lies like is the case with Putin.

The HAWK missile systems are currently used in NATO. Spain sent a bunch to Ukraine already. That announcement said “sustainment” not “maintenance”, so that is ammunition, not spare parts.
HAWK is not an old missile system. It is a top-of-the-line, state-of-the-art, upgraded old system. It’s a reliable weapon that has been upgraded several times.

With other money like French Franc, it was less favorable at 2.5. But the best way to get roubles was to sell a brand new pair of jeans. With foreiing money, russian people were able to buy goods in shop reserved to foreiners called « березка » (as far as I remember). There were almost nothing in other shops.
