Odd, you should set up a squad 2v2 challenge. Get a squad in the same lobby and it's 2 v 2; each game your team tries to complete a random challenge things like "Combined SP of 6,000", "most assists", "first to kill tank, SPAA, and plane", "most spots" literally anything. Could be some good fun
Solid Shot needs to be buffed... I stopped playing the United Kingdom tech tree due to how awful Solid Shot is. A few years ago, Solid Shot didn't suck this much... I clearly remember that the 17 Pounder could decimate the turret of a T-34, and the shrapnel generated by that hit could destroy his engine. Now, Solid Shot is so useless and awful, that hitting the side armor of a T-34 will cause APCR levels of damage, because the fuel tanks will eat all your shrapnel. What's the point of Solid Shot when you can use a shell that works as a hand grenade when it enters the crew compartment? With the Overpressure mechanic, Solid Shot has become even more useless... Now APHE shells can one shot enemy tanks with a hit in the engine! Yesterday I was using the Tiger I with the Pzgr. shell, I fired at the engine of a IS-2 and I managed to kill him with one shot. Solid Shot is so useless, that a 120mm Solid AP Shell that weights 25kg deals less post penetration damage than a 76mm APHE shell.
idk some solid shot is still good for example the British apds with 228 mm of pen (on the italian sherman vc) or the standard 105 apds with 303mm of pen or M728 APDS (m60a1) yes standard solid shot sucks
Glad I'm not the only one suffering with T-34 fuel tanks😩The whole fuel tanks absorbing the whole shot + ammo not detonating when hit is what drives me insane, I could otherwise deal with the reduced damage. The inconsistency makes flanking feel like a game of roulette, nothing worse than pulling off a cheeky flank only to be left hung out to dry when your round decides to turn into dust upon hitting some ammo or fuel.
Yes you can fire your gun while in the air. If it's a light weight vehicle with enough speed and air time you can fire the gun to the side at the top of the jump and possibly get in a barrel roll from the recoil.

The German lineups at 5.3/5.7 are absolutely cracked, like you said it's literally nesting dolls of panthers with one after another after another. If the average German player was a bit better I bet the BRs of the tigers and panthers would jump at least .3, as it is now a skilled player can dominate with ease.
The best aphe is one with more than 170g tnt eq of filler as thats all thats needed to overpressure. Meaning shoot the engine and the whole tank goe boom. Mores marrier as with the savs 860g if it enters any tiny piece of tbe thing every module instantly dies. Italy stronk tho 75mm-90mm
So you basicly only play your 2 M18´s (1 being a prem) and your Event open top prem td. I would have loved to see you run the shermans as well. Could you do a seperate episode only playing regular 75mm/76mm shermans, and no prem/event tanks perhabs ?

So I drove up next to a friendly tiger, pressed 6 to request help, and asked him in chat to help me with the fire. He sat there for a solid 10 seconds without doing anything before I cooked off and he died seconds later.

Capped and Ballistic Capped shells shouldn't affect the amount of shrapnel it produces, only how much pen shell has.
It produces more shrapnel in War Thunder, though.
