      You guys should do a how to hit steep jumps. I’m confident on tables and some doubles, but when the take offs get steep I loose all confidents, mainly because I don’t know the technique when the lip is steep.

    Simplified explanation, HOW TO JUMP: In order to clear jumps You have to be able to manual and bunnyhop and pull up/ pop the bike just right at the lip of the jump and maneuver the bike in the air just to even make it to the other side without going sideways or nosediving and if it’s a gap jump your probably going to die

      Learn the terrain first before going hard.

  • @1brenmaster

    I prefer not to advocate changing you're rebound to hide bad body position. I'd sooner say start small.
    Begin by learning a bunny hop on the flat then take that to small table tops and practice till your board on that size jump. At that point you can move on to bigger jumps having developed the right technique

      Great advice! I'm trying some jumps now in my 40s. Wasn't a thing really back in the 90s more tech stuff. Jumping was a bmx thing. Now we have so many x bmxers riding mtb they turned it into a jumping sport now. I think it's cool I'm just scared of getting air lol.

    I’m no pro by any means, I mainly ride trail jumps on my bmx bikes or my dj, if people ask me what advice I have when jumping I tell them to spot their landing, if you look where you want to land that’s usually where your front tire will end up, I’ve watched so many vids on how to jump and this is the first vid that I’ve seen mention spotting your landing, keep up what y’all do love the vids #1855trls

    Back in high school I use to jump anything and bomb down trails in Mammoth with no fear. Now I'm 38 and way out of practice. Also, I just got a Nukeproof Mega 29er and this beast of a bike is completely different to jump. Going to take some time but I'll get there. Great video as always, love what you do!

      I'm older than you but same thing. In high school I could jump damn near anything on a BMX style bike. MTB bikes have taken me a long time to jump anything moderate at all, they just don't feel as nimble in the air as what I'm used to. But I can do pretty big jumps on motocross bikes also. I don't know what my problem is, but I keep trying to get better.

    Talking about slowing down your rebound causing not to get flopped and showing fork adjustment along is not the best idea :)

      says slow the rebound on the rear shock then shows reducing high speed compression on the fork. Good way to confuse the * out of your viewers....

    An important thing to mention about body position. Make sure you have a modern bike with a longer top tube and shorter stem. I see riders on older bikes with long stems endo or go over the bars quite easily. Keep in mind, jumping mountain bikes wasn't as common when those bikes were designed. XC bikes also tend to have low bars and longer stems. So it's much harder to get your weight where in needs to be on those style of bikes, thus making jumping a bit more precarious.

    • @specializedadventuresafari277
      @specializedadventuresafari277 2 года назад +1

      My stem is 90mm and my 2014 XC bike eats up 7m plus gaps all day long. Technique is more critical than equipment in my opinion mate 👍

    • @ShadLife
      @ShadLife 2 года назад +2

      @@specializedadventuresafari277 Sure, you can jump those bikes, but it requires more effort and experience. Bikes have evolved to what they are today for a reason, long stems are not ideal for jumping. Especially for those just learning.

    • @tubularmonkeymaniac
      @tubularmonkeymaniac Год назад

      Lol I can clear a jump on my CX bike with a 100m stem. It's not about the bike.

    • @ShadLife
      @ShadLife Год назад

      @@tubularmonkeymaniac Just because you can doesn't mean it's the most ideal setup for it. Of course people can jump with less ideal bikes for it and it takes a lot more skill. It's much more likely you will nosedive and go OTB with a longer stem because your weight is more forward and over the front wheel.

    Jump trails require knowledge of the trail and confidence, I travel a lot and go to many different bike parks during the year so I case a lot of stuff til I get comfortable with a new trail. I have slowed all my rebound setting for my bike park bike. You missed pumping straight up on the takeoff.

    After about 3 years the last Keurig stopped working ruclips.net/user/postUgkxBrV-RbF5Nk0Rlt9i15aao-YMzqzTG8Vf initially was able to unblock, however eventually we couldn't fix. That one was a replacement unit sent by the manufacturer after we had problems with our very first Keurig. This works fine (lol, at least for now) however I didn't realize the water reservoir was so much smaller than our prior unit. With 2 people having one or two cups of coffee each morning, it seems like I'm refilling it daily. Otherwise just happy to have the convenience of pod coffee vs. making a morning pot.
