it's actually taken from an audio clip of somebody demonstrating it, i never found the samples again, , wherever I searched they were not available, but luckily there's a youtube movie somewhere, in which it was played solo, so I used these samples as audio. If you search for roland jx1 rock organ you might still find it. i should have actually sourced it.
Think you've got the vocals pitched too high. They actually need to come down a little bit from the original, the original is just eversoslightly sharp.
this was exactly the point. Because they were always pitched too low if you think correctly in harmonic sense. They're 1 semitone "too high" in this version, because this is actually how it would have to sound if you think musically correct. But the thing is, we all know it as music in D minor, vocals in c# minor :)
no, only that rock organ sound. But I've got a jx1 emulation from beatmachine now but it's kind of silly to remove that movie and reupload just for that part.
