Dude...I really appreciate the way you share your thought and decision making process with us. The detail of why, when, where, lure selection, color etc... Honestly the best bass fishing videos out there!!
You should add grand lake as one of your options for your full day on the water lessons, I’d definitely be interested in booking one of those with you. I’m from Oklahoma and grand lake is about a 4 hour drive but it’s a lot closer than any other lake you offer the on the water lessons.
These on the water vids are great. Very instructive. Grand Lake is a great place for this type of thing and I'm glad this will be your "classroom" for a while. Great work.
Great video as always! wish you would gently release those fish below the gunnel, makes less trauma for them and hopefully allows another angler to more easily catch.
This summer was my 1st year bass fishing. I'm trying to engage my nephew in something beside video games. We were just getting the hang of summer lake fishing then the season changed. Now we're back to catching a big zero. THANKS for the guidance & explanations👍. ✌💙🎣
I like a bigger willow in gold with a red or orange Colorado in 2 feet or less vis. I fish a spinnerbait 7 days a week 52 weeks a year. There's Not a trip I don't have one or catch one on a blade. You brought up some good points but some of your ways aren't my way, so I may try.
I consider myself fairly spinnerbait Savvy... But I cannot skip one without getting it tangled. Is there a way you tangle less or do you just deal with it?
Great video. Experimenting over a period of months though, don't you have to factor in changes in the bite? Or do you expect it to stay similar over that period?
@@FishtheMoment it's almost winter here in MN and I fish out of a float tube so I know what you mean with the layers lol. Water temp is down to about 39* now so the bite is getting real tough.
Johnny is the real deal!I love how you break everything down it detail!I don’t think anyone else explains how to catch bass like you do!Your awesome and I have learned so much through out the years!I created a channel on the art of making your own lures and then fishing with them!Check it out!
Just get out there and do it, it's just developing a skill. Surfcasters will use surgical tubing to protect their thumbs while casting and I bet it's a lot harder to feel what's happening with tubing then with a glove.
God this is one of the best fishing channels I’ve seen, it bothers me your not bigger than what you are. Keep at it you’ll explode in no time at all
Another good video Jonny. Thanks!
great stuff Jonny... love it!
thanks
Hoping to get on a bite similar to this at the college event on Sam Rayburn this next weekend! Great video!
Man, Jonny’s trolling motor skills are on Point!!! He maneuvers his boat better then I drive my truck!!🤘🏻
I love this exploring Grand Lake series! Keep this up.
Excellent boat control. Clear information. Outstanding graphics. Proven results. Thank you. Subscribed and get the notifications.

Great video as always
This kid has good energy and true passion for the sport. Made me subscribe. Great work. 👊🏼

My favorite lure to throw year round. Great job on the video!

The editing and graphics take time, you do a great job. Thanks for making us better and saving us time.
Can u do a video on how to cover a small lake in 8 hours? By either shallow fishing or offshore

Keep on Making Fishing Great Again!!!

I can skip a swim jig and football jig but every time I try to skip a spinner bait I end up having to cut a backlash out
Great teaching moment!
What type of gloves are you using there?
Jason Christie in 2016 classic was throwing spinnerbait s same pattern !! Nice

Good stuff as usual!
What state is that in?
Love the vids man. Would like to some tournaments and how you break it down fishing with other boats. Would be awesome
Great video Johnny. Question what gloves are you wearing.??
You should of recorded this two weeks earlier. I could of really use the tips. You should fish fort Gibson lake sometime and break that lake down.
Going to try skipping a spinnerbait thanks great video.🎣👍🏽
Great video. How do you use a trailer hook and a swimbait trailer at the same time?
Thanks for the tips. What gloves are you wearing? Are they waterproof/gortex/keep your hands warm?
What type of gloves are u wearing cuz I need a pair
What kind of rod tip do you use for spinnerbaits?
My next trip will be similar conditions in Louisiana!! Good info I’m hoping to get on the bass!
Great video. Experimenting over a period of months though, don't you have to factor in changes in the bite? Or do you expect it to stay similar over that period?
You put the trailer hook on, after the swim bait??
I'm surprised you didn't throw a swim jig where you where catching the smaller fish on spinnerbait.
What is the boat you're fishing on?
I cringed when your boat hit that tin sticking out from that building.
Do you throw blade baits? If so, what triggers you to start that up?
Johnny, with those water temp you should still be burning your crankbait!!!
Agreed! Thanks for the reminder! It's hard to reel fast when you're in 12 layers of clothes hahaha

How in the world do you keep the baitcasting reel from birdsnesting with gloves on???
And great vid
I always wondered that. Now I know. Just use your "mad skills"

Let me know if you want someone to tag along with you when you go back to Grand I love Grand but I've never fished it in the winter or late fall
muddy
If I had a dime for everytime he sniffed his nose I would be rich😂
