Giedre, great tips and well illustrated! I'm soooo glad you're addressing problem areas that we plus size women deal with in our "real" lives!! I'm plus size on top & regular size below! You're so kind & respectful, unlike others who just ignore our specific issues, as if we don't exist, as if everyone "worthwhile" is a size 2!(They'd look good wearing a grocery bag, i.e., anything! ) You are a rare gem to be treasured! I am very glad to hear it, Shirley! After giving birth I realised that it is a really big issue, first of all, to find clothes that fit (first time after giving birth went to buy some clothes and NONE of them fit me in size L (XL was available only in online shop) I felt so discouraged and bad about myself and my body even though it did the most majestic thing on this planet ❤ Secondly, it takes time and practise to learn how to dress different body proportions as bigger sizes usually have way more issues to address. Thirdly, there is a lot of information if you search but in our society standard body is a bit different and seeing photos in magazines and social media discourages us even more, however, the truth is that most of this planet's women are not wearing smallest sizes that's why it is important to talk about it, show the best examples how to flatter your body and most importantly LOVE and respect ourselves and our bodies in order to feel good and be healthy ❤❤❤
@@giedre Thank you, Giedre! You GET it! You may be the only style influencer who understands this issue from experience! (Marie-Anne Lecoeur, too, gets it, tho she is abt size 2. See her book on Amazon "How to be Chic & Elegant Plus Size" ) Your body has accomplished a wonderful thing, having that precious baby, but then it sort of betrays some of us. I'm so glad you realize that the vast majority of us are larger and STILL want to LOOK good! And we have the funds to do so, but lack the design & style knowledge.
