I'm on my 3rd and a half set of PS4s. My car only has 180HP not enough for the tires but I can out turn a lot of faster cars on the touge. My slow car keeps up with 300 400 HP cars in the mountains and the stopping time 60-0 is better than its competitors. Worth every penny and will be buying a new set this year at fitmentindustries👍
I have these tires on my supercharged R32. Drove them 2,200 miles to Wookies In The Woods this year. Amazing feel on The Dragon and all the other twisty roads in NC. I was a little concerned on the return trip home and the temps fell and the snow started to fall. Took it very easy the last hour of the drive... In the end all good and a great tire for everything but snow.
I'm glad you guys are putting out another video about the PS4S'!! I have to agree with everything about these tires. I've had Pirelli P Zero's, and Hankook R-S4's on my Q50 and they just don't compare to the Michelin's in overall performance. First time I used then in the rain and I didn't even realize I was driving close to triple digit speeds in heavy NC rain 😅
On my 3rd set. Worth every penny from performance to safety they are mindblowing. I was shocked to see how they performed in the rain too. Definitely recommended the PS4s
@@brother_maleik heck yeah dude!! Now that I understand how Michelins are made, I get why they’re priced the way they are. Definitely fantastic tires, both on the road, track, and even how they’re made!
LOL at "A bucket of eels, fighting each other, over a piece of bread". Either Alex has a massive imagination, or that car has a massive exhaust leak into the cabin 😆
IMO one of the most incredible "features" of this tire, beyond perfomance, is its tread life warranty (in the USA), particularly on square setups. I think it's a miss, that this wasn't discussed in the video, especially when discussing the cost. Mentioning what the tire will be used for (relative to cost/value) is good, how long it can be used for is also important. I imagine relatively few people would pay top dollar for the best performing street (in absolutely every possible category and measurement) if it only lasted 20 miles. Getting top tier perfomance in nearly every category, and a 30,000 or 15,000 mile tread life warranty, that may seem like a bargain to some folks.
0:22 one of the tires that gets asked... 12:35 I have to wonder how Alex knows specifically what that sounds like..? Instead of dog fights or cockfights he's got an underground Eel fighting ring? Lol
I picked up a 2020 gt pp1 with these tires. I've never really cared about cornering but after a couple hundred miles getting used to car I hit a highway on ramp. And it was cold that day, 43 degrees. I kept accelerating and accelerating. The tires just stuck. When I finally got on the highway I knew right there and then I need to go to a track for my very first time.
Guys remember how you made a vid about best car engine swaps so i was wondering if you guys could do one for trucks and like tell us like what is a good budget range for something ect and also like a weight class if possible 😀
I got a 21 civic type r and the continental tires it got will only last under 10k miles What do you recommend it’s my commuter car but I also want grip what do you recommend
Cool bit! Would love to hear about the "science" behind how to set up your tires for drifting, like yea they're probs not gonna have to be fancy tires like these but which ones that last the best, how to think about traction and airpressure in the fronts vs rears etc. You all seem to be grippy bois though (and that's cool too), do you have any drifty lads at FI?
What Michelin Pilot Sport should I get for my 2013 Mazdaspeed3 as a dedicated summer tire with occasional track/AutoX days and mostly spirited driving - the A/S 4 (CAD $1,112 all-in) or the Super Sport ($1,471 all-in) ? Bought it with used Potenza RE760s and loved the Pilot A/S 3+ on my last car.
Yeah the Pilot Sports are great, amazing, but the tread life... horrible. I always grab other tires since I daily drive more than track, but I do track couple times a year.
I'm looking to see if these are better than the Yokohama Apex v601 tires. They are less than $100 in price difference with the Yokohama being more expensive.
I drive a fusion on factory rims.. 235 50 17.. Michelin discontinued the ps2 and so the best tire I could get is the all season 4.. they're good but I'd rather have these.
Ps4s is not a track tire 80/20 street/track.. its best in high speed.. fast tracks.. but the cup 2 or cup 2 R is better for track. The bad about the tire, is thats its ONLY for 18+ inch tires.. Smal sizes is not supported on Michelin… Hancook RS4 is better, The new Falken RT660 is faster and cheaper…
What tires are you guys running on your rides?

2 sets of wheels on PS4s 👌🏼
These are the tires I run on my 20’ mustang gt definitely the best tire I have ever ran, making crowds safer everywhere

I’ve had multiple sets now. They are phenomenal on any road in any condition
I wrapped my WRX in a set of PS4S and I haven't looked back. Incredible tire!
I almost bought these, got the conti extreme contact sports instead. Id like to try the 4s, but that price.. youch!
I just got em and im watching this vid to justify the purchase 😅
I have them on my ap1, and they are worth the price for sure!
Just put a set on my AP2 and love them.

Bro you don’t understand how much happier you made me happy to own a set of these
I build them all day long. I’m glad you love them!!
Like u make the tires?
@@brother_maleik yup
@@JustinCFC awesome! I'll be getting them when winter disappears!! Along with some enkie rpf1s!

Use them on my evo x, Costco has decent prices with 150 off discount, don’t care about rain here in Southern California lol
I have a bit more respect for Alex now didn't know he owned an R8
Run these on my Z32.. zero wheel hop and holds 500+ whp no problem. best tires I’ve ever ran

I have em on my daily lexus 3IS. Loyal to em forever. 2nd set in use so far
4:23 that police interceptor tho
Another great video brother 🍺
Michelin tires does perform great though... I even use the Pilot Street ones for my bike and my dad uses Pilot Sport 4 for his Accord and A45 AMG
So we're really not gna talk about Alex's little slip up @0:21? Lol
i got AS4s for my GLI and fell in love with the car again
Damn! Alex should do a collaboration with the guy from Tyre Reviews
I have these in 265 on a widebody S2000, I don’t push the car hard but I tend to make sure my tires are top notch.
Love mine. Got PS4S on my 335.
After buying these tires I would never buy budget tires, the performance speaks for itself.
"Ya I can scrap too" has to be the weirdest flex ever
I just gripped a set yesterday. still waiting for the wheels to show up, though.
Have these on my Kia Stinger GT2 and I love them!

They don't really do truck-stuff, but it would be kinda interesting...
Got these recently on my Golf R-line on my new wheels. Really decent and never really had them slip

There's no way you watched the full video tho
I'm looking to see if these are better than the Yokohama Apex v601 tires. They are less than $100 in price difference with the Yokohama being more expensive.
Both are great quality in respect to road noise, Michelins just have a slighter edge in my opinion! -Edgar

why would you want that car?
@@jamdc2000 exactly lmao, Passat cool, w8 ew
What budget tire is comparable to the Michelin
I think the test is invalid because you tested these tires on an awd vehicle. The people want to see fwd or rwd
There should have been a video when he got the r8
So you want a w202 please pleeeeeeas
Day 54 of asking Fitment Industries to bring back Wheel History.

had the PS4S on my M235i and i loved every second of them, but when it came to the rain or snow, it rendered the car entirely unusable
I drive my Focus RS in heavy Florida rain w these tires no problem. Snow i get though, this compound definitely isn’t for snow
