I have the same setup. When I took it off it had scratched the finish under one of the clamps 😥. But with that being said, once it is on it is a solid mount. No reason to take it off but it does block the serial number. But I do love it!
People are dependent on red dot optics and scopes without getting any training in using the iron sights .
That is a fact… however optics is the new iron sights… we can’t stop progress🤷🏻
