What a stunning tool wall and display that makes! Giving me some fantastic ideas for my workshop revamp. Nice work from you both. Matt and Jonny are great lads, I had the pleasure of meeting them both for the first time at Makers in 2019, keep up the great work lads. 👍😁

Our pleasure! Totally agree that the boys are top lads and we were thrilled with the finished Tool wall in their workshop! Maybe we have more collabs coming in the future...👀

I'm loving the shadowfoam and ikea picture frame tool walls. I think I'll end up doing this with my measuring tools one if these days.

Nice. Working on ours today. Discovering you need LOADS of scalpel blades 😂

The more practise you get, the less scalpel blades you’ll need eventually

Because of the location; I assumed you were going to mount the frames on drawer slides so they could be pulled out from the wall for easier access.

Hey guys, such a great idea and I’ve just bought some ikea frames like this so think this is just what need for my workshop revamp. What thickness foam did you use? And any tips for mounting these to the wall?

    • @JonaShone

We've done a video where we mounted ikea frames to our wall with a french cleat system, 50mm foam did the job for us!

Looks good. Question. Those frames are notoriously weak. Why not buy some trim and build your own custom frames? You can cut in rabbets and mount the plywood. This would allow for greater customization in size and style and would be significantly stronger.
