What a stunning tool wall and display that makes! Giving me some fantastic ideas for my workshop revamp. Nice work from you both. Matt and Jonny are great lads, I had the pleasure of meeting them both for the first time at Makers in 2019, keep up the great work lads. 👍😁
Our pleasure! Totally agree that the boys are top lads and we were thrilled with the finished Tool wall in their workshop! Maybe we have more collabs coming in the future...👀
Hey guys, such a great idea and I’ve just bought some ikea frames like this so think this is just what need for my workshop revamp. What thickness foam did you use? And any tips for mounting these to the wall?
Looks good. Question. Those frames are notoriously weak. Why not buy some trim and build your own custom frames? You can cut in rabbets and mount the plywood. This would allow for greater customization in size and style and would be significantly stronger.

Your channel is amazing! Your tool shadow boxes are next level. Going to look at your site and order what i need.
Thank you! Let me know if you need any help with anything 👍
Practical and decorative. I love it! 😻
Thank you! 😊
Awesome New Addition to the Workshop
Sure is! 👍
I'm loving the shadowfoam and ikea picture frame tool walls. I think I'll end up doing this with my measuring tools one if these days.
Happy to share the inspiration, let me know how the project goes when you do it mate 👍
Definitely gonna do something like this in my room this just looks so clean and smart.
Let me know how you get on with giving it a go!
Nice. Working on ours today. Discovering you need LOADS of scalpel blades 😂
The more practise you get, the less scalpel blades you’ll need eventually
I was a bit late to watching this one, busy real job weekend. But looks fantastic!
Cheers Mark! How was your weekend mate?
@@JonaShone a busy B&Q weekend. But it’s relatively cool in store so not too bad. Day off today.
Enjoy it mate! Certainly got the wather on your side 😎
Because of the location; I assumed you were going to mount the frames on drawer slides so they could be pulled out from the wall for easier access.
Great idea there Bill!
Looks good, but i don't see how the tools won't fall out.

We've done a video where we mounted ikea frames to our wall with a french cleat system, 50mm foam did the job for us!
Nice
Thanks Roy!
