    my hp C5580 continues to show clear paper jam. there is no paper jam. have tried everything in video. no jammed paper. it will not print.

    Hej, I have the same problem with paper jam, even there is no paper inside. After many hours i found gear with break which can not move cartridges. HP C5280 atasco de papel y error de fábrica

    like Mary Justice my c5250 continues to show clear paper jam however there is no paper jam and I too have tried everything in this video. can you help?

      Hi mike saad,
      If you've followed all the steps in the video then you might have a carriage jam and not a paper jam. It is not unusual for a carriage jam to present itself as paper jam first. Please search for C01423360 on HP's home page or using Google search. It is the trouble shooting document for a carriage jam for the Photosmart C5250 printer. There is also a video on RUclips on HP's justprintingaround channel titled "Fixing a Carriage Jam - HP Photosmart C5580 All-in-One Printer" that covers a carriage jam for the C5250 printer.

    I have no paper jam. Still the printer is reading Carriage jam.

      +Booker Barnes I understand you're experiencing a carriage jam error, the part which holds the cartridges, stalls in the printer. It reads paper jam or carriage jam as the carriage cannot move freely from its home position. Please try the following steps from the article to resolve the issue: bit.ly/2v3JB67

      +Booker Barnes It is not necessary that paper jam is the only reason why the carriage can't move freely and you will get the carriage jam error message. To resolve the issue, try each solution in this document in the order presented in this document: bit.ly/2v3JB67 if the issue persists you can contact the HP phone support: hp.care/2oEj8Fb for further assistance.

      justprintingaround i am having same issue. Carriage wont move because the indicators are in the way in front of the carriage. I cant even get the cartridges out of the holders without the thing in front of it in the way. I dont know how to fix it

    Want to really fix your problem? Throw this POS printer in the trash and buy something else. It will save your sanity.

    Torn pieces of paper? The paper doesn't even get picked up by the printer in the first place.
