@@JamieBBall Kovalev was not at Elite level. He lost to Lyndon Arthur at British Domestic Level. He was never experienced enough to fight Beterbiev let alone beat him. The guy goes from fighting nobodies to world champions and thinks he’s good enough. He’s not a warrior, he’s delusional.

Surprised at this analysis - SPOT ON, most are picking Yarde. He was blowing after 3 rounds against AB. Buatsi has more skill and will get to him for the ko.
@@rudolphstrachan4763 I can see why though as JB keeps his feet still and head on the centre line for a bit too long. JB definitely more talented than AY but he can’t fight him like he has done his last 5 fights, he emotionally easily gets involved. Use his superior Jab for me is up there with Haney’s, keep moving to Yardes left and wins easily but JB always wants to do it the hard way.

Yarde literally stops him he's levels above "blowing against ab" but the little short shots berterbiev throws make an impact he gassed against kovalev but he's got way more experience, if that was yarde in there he would of got rid of azeez buatsi isn't a killer

Had he had the right learning fights at the right time, he could already have been champion. They chucked him in too early against kovalev.

It would be great if Yarde, Smith and Buatsi have domestic fights against each other. No disrespect but none of those 3 are beating Bivol or Biterbiev.
Anthony Yarde was in a tough era for light heavyweight’s, he would have been a champion in a different era. He made Beterbiev fall to his knees after the stoppage, sign of how frustrated he was. He’s got nothing to be ashamed of he lost to 1st Ballot HOF fighters and gave them a tough fight.
Artur does that with all his wins. It's his religion.
Beterbiev has done that many times after winning. And Yarde fought a well past prime Kovalev and a 38 year old Beterbiev. Sure Beterbiev is still very good but no one is prime in their late 30s, especially a fighter who has been boxing 30 years now.

To be honest I wouldn’t mind seeing a beterbiev rematch I just wanna see him a lot fitter and not gassing out early rounds and I think he does even better
