I have this Kase macro lens though I don't use it very often. But as it is very small and light that I can bring it everywhere with me. Unfortunately I can't find a good Android camera app with focus peaking feature.
Hi Mical! i got the regular pixel 7 a few months ago, although it has the same camera is the pixel 7 pro it doesn't have the same macro ability's as the 7 Pro, are there any of good lenses recently you can suggest? thanks
Have you heard about Prosumer L810 Max or Prosumer Sony 25mm Pro Macro Lens for smartphone ? You should try once and it will change your thoughts about mobile phone macro Lens capability
3:13 Most telephoto lens can't focus that close so it would be useless, right? It's only possible with recent phones from china that has close focusing telephoto like xiaomi 14/ huawei p60p. With that it would be ultra magnification for sure.
@@MicaelWidell And i'm saying it's not possible unless you have close/macro focusing telephoto. The macro lens has fixed focal point very close, that most telephoto mobile lens can't see, it will be just blurry.
im using a sony xperia 5ii smarthphone for photography but i never use the telephoto lens for macro. i searched the internet and most people use the main camera lens. with telephoto you often shake it quickly. etc.. but maybe its sony vs iphone i dunno.
I'd rather have a phone with changeable lenses.. just one large sensor is enough.. imagine getting a phone with one main wide lens, and then you buy whatever lens you like.
Cool thanks man love the practical advice. I was thinking about getting one for my phone but then I think every time I've tried macro on my phone even without a lens it's just kind of annoying getting the focus and all the settings right... would be cool if they made a smartphone that was built more for photography and communication as an afterthought with some hard buttons.... maybe even a dial. I just want something light to carry around I'm tired of carrying around a full frame I think maybe I'll read up on micro 3/4 or whatever.
I'm right with you that using a smartphone with a supplementary macro add-on is generally not worth the hassle of bulk, alignment and added flare. On top of which your smartphone is always shooting at its maximum aperture, something that seems a crazy thing to do in macro photography.
Have been using apexel macro lenses for over a year now, really like them.
Same to u
Which one?

I don’t think the lenses are the problem or limitation here. It’s more about the handling and the camera sensor.
Thank you. Very good. I ll buy one of this.

The point of using an add on macro lens like the one in this video is that you can get the telephoto lens on the camera to focus very closely

New xperia 1 VI got this feature too

Or just have your DSLR make phone calls lol 🤣

I take photos with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and + Apexel 100mm 10X Macro Lens and its really gives good results. I think Apexel is better than kase.
What application you use Sir?
Halide
@@MicaelWidell can't find in Google Play store
@@felixpapua71 it is only for iOS. You have to find a similar app for Android

The new iPhone 13 Pro Max with built-in macro seems interesting and does not have the bulkiness of add-on lenses.
Nice
Can it be use for samsung s20 fe ; it has telephoto lens
I’m sure it can
@@MicaelWidell thank you
Can i use this lense on s21 ultra?
Not sure, you have to check their webpage
Is this lens fit on iphone 14?
Yes

Fint!
Jag är inte heller smartphone objektiv adaptrandet typen då jag vill få ut mera kvalitet ur mina raw filer än vad mobilens kamera kan ge mig!
LOL 🤣 With a Macro Lens that big, I will just enlarge the image from the Phone or bring along a camera with better possibility to take macro shots.
