Wow, that was excellent. Clear and concise. Thank You!
Thank you for explaining it clearly!
Thanks for sharing! Hope to try soon !
Good luck, and just let us know if you have any questions!
Thank you for sharing. How do you do this if you want to add glitter resin and decor. When would you place the cabochon into the bezel/how long after etc?
I did a couple and they came out great. However, my recent version when i put the swellegant on the photo, the black seems to bleed. the photo had a black background. the color part seems ok. my other pendant had little black. is that the issue?
Super👍👍
Thanks!
What if I paint paper with watercolors? Will the glue ruin my work?
What is the best paper to use? I printed out a photo and on printer paper and it didn’t seem as vivid in sharpness like I saw on my pc screen. ?
We recommend a matte white card stock paper, 65 lbs or heavier. It may be worth taking your images to a local print shop and using one of their laser printers. Their technicians will also be able to check the specs of the images you're printing. PC screens are more forgiving than printers unfortunately, some images that don't have enough detail in them to be printed sharply will still look sharp on a PC.
I was wondering if you could bypass using the swallagent and just use the diamond glaze
Hi! I think you would need to experiment a little to make sure that the diamond glaze doesn't cause any bleeding of your image or over saturation. The swellagent is sealing the image before the diamond glaze is applied. It sure might work, but I can not say for certain. Have fun experimenting.
How do you prevent bubbles?
The best method we've found for dealing with bubbles is to apply a little heat while the resin is curing. A BBQ lighter (The kind where the flame comes out of the end of a metal stick) is the best tool for this. Carefully wave the flame an inch or so above the surface of the resin and the difference in temperature will cause the bubbles to rise towards the surface. If they don't get quite close enough to pop themselves you can pop them yourself by reaching in with a pin. Check on your piece a few times while it's curing and repeat this step as necessary.
Is it possible to add a photo to a flat heart pendant?
You certainly can! We should have more of these pendants soon. You can find our listing here: beadaholique.com/products/silver-plated-heart-bezel-with-glass-heart-cabochon-25mm-pendant-set
where do you get the glue and other liquid bottle?
The Diamond Glaze is currently out of stock, but you can find it here: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=diamond+glaze

I want to make this kind of necklace with pics of faces (family) on them. I guess I need some resizing software?
Kind of lol
Any idea why I get silvery looking streaks and specks?
Did you ever find out why you get the specks?. I get them too
@@tinytarleton2753 Same here. I believe those are air?
@@tinytarleton2753 oh my goodness, i had that same issue and just found out why!!! i had created some pendants that looked amazing-with NO bubbles or weird reflective splotches-and i'd stored them in some craft boxes. When i was sorting through them a month or so later most of them had thise splotches!! i did some research and learned that, because diamond glaze is water based it is not waterproof AND it reacts to humidity!
This is really something that needs to be told in these videos!!
So basically, if you want good quality pendants (rather than just "cheap to make" pendants)that actually last, there are a couple options- you can use clear uv resin to attach the glass cabochon instead of diamond glaze, which makes your pendant waterproof. the drawback to this is that any resin that may squeeze out the sides (and you don't wipe off completely) will cure and become difficult to remove. Also, if you miss a tiny bubble it's impossible to remove it once it's cured, so you must be far more careful with your crafting. uv resin is workable until put under the uv light, but it only takes a minute or two to cure once under the light.
The second option is to use a two-part epoxy resin in place of the glass cabochon. the epoxy hardens clear as a cabochon and is waterproof as well, though once the two parts are mixed you have limited time to work with it before it hardens---so be sure to know exactly what you plan to design before you mix it ( :
i hope this helps you all out, i know it surely helped me out!

Are these products archival and non-yellowing? I want to turn some of my watercolor work into pendants, but I am doing my research now to prevent any mistakes that would result in products that don't age well.
Great question! What you need is an archival type sealant. We used to carry one and it was discontinued by the manufacturer. We are still looking for a replacement.
The Swellegent is no longer available. Do you have an alternative product you could recommend? Thanks.
We are still looking for a good alternative to Swellegant sealer. As soon as we find one, we will for sure make a video with it.
can you use any glue for this?
We recommend the Judikins Diamond Glaze. Here is a link: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=diamond+glaze
I tried this and my picture from internet printed bleed tge pic
If you are having trouble with bleed, one way to help it is to do a laser print of it, not inkjet. You can send your image to a copy center and they can usually print it for under $1
Why do I get back and sliver spots in the picture and sometime color bleeds ?
Hi! I would try applying a second layer of sealant. Then for the bleed, are you printing on an inkjet printer by chance? Sometimes inkjet prints can bleed, a laser printer shouldn't. I hope this helps!
Thank you@@beadaholique

U don't need to do any of that stuff... waiting 30 min here and 30 min there to let layers dry. All U need is some double-sided sticky dots & it takes about 2 minutes to put one of those together. No mess, no waiting, no drips, and U can get the punchers that will punch the hole out for you so there is no need to trim them with scissors. U are taking something that can be done in 2 min and spending an hour or more just to do ONE pendant. I can do 15 pendants in that amt of time just using sticky dots. Happy crafting.
That’s great. Any specific double sided dots work better? Any issues with air bubbles or hazyness?
