Hi Maria! Glad you made this video for us! Love all your so chic looks. Always enjoy hearing your fashion analysis with your honesty & humor. I guess one way we refine our personal style is when we buy things we like on others & realize they just don’t work on us- like those Chanel-esque shoes for you. This video made me realize I might need to try a Betty cardigan (probably in that ecru color) as my first Sézane purchase. I live in a pretty mild climate too and it might often be “just the thing” as a top layer for me like it is for you. I love both of the handbags you featured. That shade of “tan” leather handbag is so great with so many things (especially in spring/summer) and so is that nice olive suede (in fall/winter!), and both are hard to find in anything less than higher-end options! But this video definitely showcases the benefits of reasonable cost per wear when you buy good quality “just right” items that you truly love and that work for your everyday lifestyle. So you’ve inspired me to try harder in 2025 to be willing to spend more for fewer items that are smarter buys for me.
Marie you are so chic, you look like a model. I remember when you bought the Prada skirt. We all make wrong fashion choices. I have a closet full of, what was I thinking. lol❤
WOW, every outfit was spot on! You looked fabulous in every pop up showcase. These were definitely your best purchases. Thoroughly loved the video, including some inspiration. Thank you.
I looove this video!! Watching you talk about your Louboutin..oh gosh 😅 same here! I got mine pre owned, final sale, so I still have hope to get my right size and hopefully wear them. Haven’t worn my Orans either , mine are green and just not easy to wear 🫠 I love this outfit here 8:57 with your red heels.. so beautiful! ❤
Hello Maria Sunshine! Great advice: Enjoy what you buy! I remember women in my family when I was young who would only wear certain clothes for very special occasions, but that meant they hardly ever wore these clothes at all. I love wearing my cashmere and good clothes around town because I feel like I earned the joy of wearing them. I appreciate you helping me realize that I deserve to feel beautiful every day and not just on special occasions. Thank you for your honesty and beautiful heart! I hope your New Year is delightful in every way! Keep up the amazing job! Hugs, Stacy 💛💛💛
As is watched this, I started to wonder if you realize that you have a beautiful face, a beautiful figure, and what sounds like as awesome husband. You already have it all! You don't need uber-luxury goods to look classy and amazing. I hope you recognize this in yourself and your life in the new year, All the best
Great video!! I agree about the Hermes & C.L’s. I think the orans are over rated and mine are sitting in the box as well. As far as the CL Heels, I’m w you. I think CL’s best days are behind them. The heels are not comfortable at alll! 2025 I’m going to start buying more Amina Muddi!! They’re so adorable and great heel size for regular usage.
Hi Daniella, Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I've never tried Aminas but they do look chic and comfortable. I’m also trying to be more conscious of buying quality pieces that I can wear for a long time and I need to make more conscious long lasting shopping choices in 2025, we'll see. Happy holidays and have a wonderful new year! xo
The Oran sandals need time to break in wear them around the house because the leather stretches to half a size up at least The louboutin shoes are the most uncomfortable regardless of the model i sold mine years ago, Jimmy Choo are way more comfortable And always a very lovely style happy new year
Hi Samar! Thank you for your comments. I will give the orans more time and will wear them in the house until they give alittle. I'm definitely not getting rid of them. the Louboutins... they need to go, it's impossible to wear them for more than 10 minutes. I love Jimmy Choo too! I'll stick to those. Cheers. Have a beautiful new year!
Maria, seeing you like Sezane’s Betty & Matthew have you tried Kilte? They have washable cashmere items in pants & tops (long & short sleeve) Not to be mean but I think you’ve learnt some lessons about buying Amazon junk or buying for the label. I appreciate your honesty….most of all future YOU will appreciate learning the lessons and not repeating them (hopefully!)
Hello! thank you for your suggestion. I just checked out the brand and it's beautiful. And nothing mean about your comment, I learned these lessons and will be more mindful of my purchases in 2025, hopefully. wishing you a wonderful new year! xo

Sell that Prada skirt! Ridiculous!
I’m with you on the pleated wool skirt. Really not flattering at all! Sorry, Maria!
I totally agree! That skirt was a miss for me! Thank you for your honesty! Have a wonderful new year and thank you for being here xo
