I did not grow up in the digital age so we had no choice but to be present. Internet changed all that, some for the better and some not so great. This channel definitely one of the better parts of the digital world ❤ Happy New Year 🎊 🌿🪴🍃🥂
Dear Hannah, a couple of months ago I stumbled across your channel. I've been binge watching every video since then. The way you capture nature and everything around it is so calming and relaxing. Whenever I'm stressed I put on one of your videos and dream away in the beauty of the Cotswolds. Hopefully I'm able to visit one day! Thank you
I moved to the country 7 years ago and am so happy with our current lifestyle. We’re a little over an hour outside of Chicago living on 5 acres with our horses and dogs amongst many lovely farms. It’s a great choice and fit for our family because anytime we need an airport or a day in the city we can hop on a train and we’re magically transported to another world in 75 minutes. Like most of your videos the slow country pace is very good for my soul. You’re a very talented videographer/person in general. Keep up the great work and thank you ❤️
Roo is just precious! The scene of 2 little scamps racing through the countryside is so heartwarming. Hannah, that tangerine and sage on you looked fabulous! Much love.
I join you in doing more things next year that make me feel a part of the bigger world, or my local world for that matter. As a 60+, family and obligations can swallow you up if you don't set aside time to seek joy and connect with those who raise our spirit.
Yes ~ you are lucky with a lot of things, but you also make them happen. It takes work and effort to facilitate things for a happy life. You surely achieved a lot this year. Congratulations ! 🥂
I completely understand what you mean by wanting to do things that allow you to feel a part of a larger pattern of life and more connected to humanity. I feel this is an important spiritual need we all have and luckily there are so many ways to fill this need, and get in a flow with the nature and people around you that is mutually beneficial and nurturing.
My biggest concern is how we are going to survive all these financial and political crises, especially the power struggle in the US. The government has really made things difficult for its citizens and we cannot just sit by and suffer the consequences of bad governance🙏…
How nice that she does so much for you!! Please is there a way to contact her services? I have 3 jobs and I'm trying to pay off my debts for a while now! Please help me🙏
Hi Hannah, try mashing the avocado with freshly squeezed lime, Tabasco, chilli flakes and half a clove of raw garlic with a little salt and pepper before spreading it on your toast 😋
Your videos are so cozy 😌 Be blessed in your new home! 🙏 I completely get the idea of embracing the human experience more. Can’t wait to hear you talk more about it.
The chirping birds so cute, it almost feels like spring already ! 🐤🌼🥰 Happy cozy Sunday Hannah, than you for this lovely vlog, greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭🐄😘😘
Really enjoy your videos so much Hannah 💗 They're so cozy and so peaceful to watch, looking out to the next one! Enjoy the rest of your sunday and I hope you have a wonderful new years eve!
I can’t believe that some place this beautiful exists! Living in suburban America it’s so hard to appreciate architecture and simple living. I definitely need to visit the cotswolds some day!
Y@@oogabooga2525In my experience you really need a car if you want to explore. If you're staying put in a village then getting around by walking is easy . There is good bus and train service but there may be walking involved to get to a place . So a car is optimal but don't let it stop you from getting around . I'm lucky to have family drive me around but I still get out on my own . Hope this helps ! Happy New Year 🎉❤️🇨🇦
I truly enjoyed everything! The cooking aspect was such a delight! 💗 Your beautiful walks through the Cotswolds are absolutely breathtaking. I often find myself wishing I could live in that serene place. Thank you for providing such a wonderful escape from reality!💗
Highly recommend the Zoe podcast episode on olive oil for more info about smoke points! But basically from what I remember you’re better off using as high quality as possible with everything because you’re not actually reaching high enough temp to get to the smoke point, plus way more polyphenols etc in higher quality olive oil. I really recommend the Odysea organic one for a supermarket shop!
Hi Hannah, I came across your RUclips channel a couple of months ago. Throughly enjoying tuning in each week. I enjoyed seeing your walk through my village. Wishing you a happy 2025🍃
Absolutely love the countryside in the Cotswolds and pretty much all of England. Your photography is beautiful and it captures the essence of simplicity and naturalness. So glad you have the opportunity to be near your family and that you all have such a close family relationship…so many today have strained relationships and it’s so sad because we are all just walking each other home. I got to stay with my dad for 4 1/2 years til he passed last February at 102 and he still lived in my childhood home of 76 years. A gift I will forever treasure. I saw that you are reading more non fiction and just wanted to recommend a book that is coming out by Mel Robbins….’Let Them Be’. Such a great concept and one that everyone could use as a life skill…. She also has her podcast if you get a minute to check her out. On another note…so many beautiful podcasters tend to use music to enhance their work but on the receiving end it tends to overshadow what’s being said….especially when they are inside a room where there is not much to absorb the sounds. It happens more when the audio device is further from the one doing the talking. If you are someone who has hearing aids it is totally impossible to follow. I do and I miss out on a lot because of it which is sad because the podcasts are so beautiful and interesting. Do you have/use a lapel audio receiver? Just a thought. I just thought I would mention it…. Keep these beautiful vlogs coming as I’m sure they are greatly appreciated by so many 🙏🏻
Good day….Happy New Year…..🎊🎉 We can all put the power of our intentions towards creating a most peaceful, accepting of what ‘IS’, and desiring of all that is good for the world and the better of everything that exists. Watching your strolls thru the countryside go a long way towards that element of inner peacefulness….can’t wait for your next dog walk…hopefully your beloved fiancé will be there with you and Roo. Another recommendation for a non fiction book is ‘Mind Magic’ by Dr. James R. Doty a world renowned neuroscientist….covering the subject of the power of one’s intentions. You won’t be disappointed 👍👍
Such a peaceful and beautiful home, love the bird song! I like New Year also and are thinking of key words for the upcoming year to focus my life around. Happy New Year to you ❤
A lipidologist I used to work with recommended cooking with ground nut oil as it’s great for heart health and has a high burn temp. It’s relatively cheap too, so win win! Beautiful cottage btw 😊
They are , I use them myself . They're available at any place that sells cosmetics . Don't pay a fortune for them though , you can get the same thing at the dollar stores . ❤️🇨🇦
Hi Hannah! 🥳 Happy New Year. Your soup looks fantastic. Roo looks happy running out to her yard. I was hoping to see what Kenny got you for your birthday.
I don't know if you've heard of color seasons but you naturally pick colors that are beautiful on you. You're a light summer so yes that intuition to pick that white tee is spot on and the light taupes and greys.
In Germany I always get an organic cooking olive oil for frying veggies in the pan. I also heard that it is supposedly better, however I doubt that countries like Spain and Italy who traditionally cook with olive oil use different oil for cooking than for putting on the salad.
As usual, really enjoyed your blog Hannah. You seem to be settling in so well in your new home. I’m sure being closer to your family is a big plus. One small point, could you mute the music when you are talking as it distracts from what you say? Just a thought. Enjoy your New Year celebrations. Wishing you a very happy and healthy 2025.
Looks like you've settled in the cottage and quickly made it your home, it will be lovely to see the new garden through the seasons. Which village have you moved to Hannah as I'm always looking for new villages to explore, is there a local pub, church, railway station etc or is it simply residential?
As always, a very beautiful video. I hope your Christmas went well. I just sent a message to Healf suggesting they collaborate with you. I saw their box appear in the video. I use them for my supplements, and they are amazing. Have a great Sunday!
True! You should nót bake/cook with extra virgin olive oil. Just normal olive oil, because it can stand a higher cooking °. So funny, I have the same mugs, but than with a ginger bread man. Lóve them! Have added smoked tempeh (or tofu as we call it) to my shopping basked ❤
16:45 there’s some truth that it’s better using a refined oil rather can a extra virgin/cold pressed oil. But olive oil among other oils shouldn’t really be heated regardless. Saturated fats are more stable when heated such as ghee, beef tallow, lard or coconut oil for vegans.
You should stick with higher quality olive oils. Non-extra virgin OO is heated to refine the oil and is more likely to be rancid than cold-pressed extra virgin. Also lower quality olive oils are often cut with vegetable oils to reduce the price and trick consumers!
Is it hard for foreigners to make friends in the UK? I am American and would like to attend UAL but I’ve heard in the UK it isn’t easy to make friends. It’s amazing you are so close to family in such a gorgeous part of the world it’s so important!
What happened at the end of the video? It just ended during skin care products you were going to show us and it wasn't your usual sign off. Would love to hear about your Christmas and if you got to see Kenny.

Love your videos. Just a question, is it a 'thing' that I've noticed, wearing sleeves over your hands? It looks rather strange especially whilst cooking. I can't imagine you would want tomato soup on your lovely sweater. I have seen several RUclips girls/ladies do this. Is it a fad?

I visited in '22 and I really want to return for a visit. Stayed in Chipping Campden and visited many of the other towns.

You are correct about the oil and smoke point. The best oil to cook with is avocado oil. It's not processed as much and has a very high smoke point!
Such a peaceful and beautiful home, love the bird song!
I like New Year also and are thinking of key words for the upcoming year to focus my life around.
Happy New Year to you ❤
Wonderful video - your Dad's tomato soup recipe looks so delicious - a must try for the new year. Love your nail polish color by the way.
