@@antonboludo8886 Generally speaking I think most long term RUclips users would agree that anything pre 2012 would be the "good old days." This would be the golden era of independent content creators, where the majority of well known RUclipsrs were either vloggers or self produced comedy channels. There was only a handful of 1 million+ subscriber channels and the PewDiePie craze hadn't started to take over yet. I could go on, but I already listed my biggest reasons. A lot of this also just comes down to personal preference and nostalgia, that was the period when I used and enjoyed RUclips the most. That's not to say RUclips isn't good anymore, and everyone will have their own favorite era on the site.
Yes, it seems that production value creep and the great race to nowhere envelops all things in the end... Thankfully at any moment there will be some exceptions to the rule.

Hello Nat. Glad to see you doing well. I was one of your early subs, i remember when your channel started to blowup. Just wanted to send you some positive vibes from the Chesapeake Bay, I hadn't commented in a while. I noticed in this vid the RHCP dark necessities video on t.v. at your friends party 👍 Keep up the good work and as always thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life & life in your piece of Russia. Let me tell you, a lot of political & social topics you talk about are truly eye opening. I live on the U.S. Eastcoast. In my country, after the end of the cold war. There was no sense or feeling of "we won" there was only a sense of "thank god we have peace and averted nuclear war." Also most Americans looked forward to friendship and good relations with our Russian brothers & sisters. I remember a video of Bill Clinton & Boris Yeltsin laughing together, having a good time. This feeling still exists here, Putin has just cast a long, dark shadow over it. So again, thank you for sharing with all of us.
Being as young as you seem to be, the evolution of your vlogs show your interests growing along with us other conscious global citizens. Very inspiring.
"And right behind the eco-station I saw a vegetable market" where everything is sold in single use plastic bags. :( Would be nice if they used paper bags or even reusable shopping nets like my grandmother used for buying produce.
Paper bags and shopping nets are worse to the environment due to the climate change. Also, who the hell throws thier plastic bags away after a single use! So wastefull, my babushka is very dissapointed

Here in the USA, many television advertisers target their advertising toward regional viewers. We don't all get the same view of the products. In Calif., we see ads with same sex couples and mixed race families quite frequently. The advertisers were probably testing the waters at first and we might soon see more advertising aimed at a homogeneous population. I look forward to watching your videos and learning more about your life. I really like how natural and open you are and your explanations of what we are watching are very helpful.
I just found this channel and it's fascinating seeing your insight into Russian life, We don't get to see enough of it so thankyou. Likewise to this Comment in Australia same sex love in advertising id very common and same sex marriage is legal here. Though it wasn't always that way and people have been testing that concept for many years. I'd agree with Herman that the advertisers where testing the market place, they may have even back tracked so far to divert attention from those involved to try and calm down the negative reaction. It's a tough situation, but as always many people would have seen that ad and felt, like it seems you might, that this kind of progress may be positive for Russian cultural development. I've just subscribed and look forward to watching more from you, again it's a fascinating insight into a country hat has only been open for a few decades now so there is plenty for us to learn
Thank you for another entertaining video. It's important to see people in their everyday lives because is shows us that we aren't really so different, no matter where we live. Discriminating against people because of their gender preferences is just wrong. I hope young people like yourself will not continue to practice this type of discrimination.
I really enjoy your videos. I adore seeing new places, city scapes, people etc etc. Lovely light in much of this video. Russia has become a place I really must explore, all thanks to films like yours.. Many thanks fine lady.
I live in Bulgaria and same sex couples are not treated as bad as they are in Russia, however most people here do in fact discriminate them and treat people from the LGBTQ+ community with a stigma. Older generations and even not so old ones, view people from the LGBTQ+ community as if there's something wrong with them; that they're sick, that it simply is not natural. We have a pride fest every June and sometimes there's a counter protest/protest against it, people come up with silly slogans like “give the rainbow back to the kids', “to save the traditional family”, “to save our kids and the future of Bulgaria” and other crap like that. What these people fail to realize is that most people from the LGBTQ+ community are younger generations who are not afraid to come out and admit who they are. I also find it pretty ironic how the people who try to "protect” the children can show a form of aggression against someone’s child just because he doesn’t fit the stereotypical norm that's been shoved down our throats. On another note, my fathers girlfriend who is 30 something has the mindset that the meaning to be a woman is to give birth and be a mother. One day she told me how back in during the Zhivkov era (“Communist” Bulgaria) there were no gay people and that now there are so many, even older people are turning out to be gay, she later proclaimed that it's something in the food that makes people gay. At that point I just lost my marbles and told her that during the Zhivkov era people didn't have the freedom to come out as gay in fear for their lives, now that times are different people are more likely to speak out, but no...it is clearly the food. In general, I feel like my country has a long way to go before people can become open minded and kind, however I am seeing a progress with newer generations which gives me a little hope that not everything is lost. If there was a commercial like that VkussVill / ВкусВилл I am certain that the majority of people would be against it and would write bad comments and maybe even harass the couple in some way. Lastly, I think what you're doing, the way you speak your mind, given the circumstances, is very brave and can be very inspiring. I hope that every goal that comes to your mind - you achieve and I wish you all the luck and good fortune ahead. Thank you for the amazing content and showing off Russia too. Stay safe!

We graduated high school the same year and had some good times. While I lost all contact with him, your videos give me some insight into your country. Thank you!
Hi Natasha! Lee here in New Jersey, USA. Glad to see that it is warm and green there where you are. Always enjoy watching your vlogs. They are interesting and educational. So many places I only learn about life from people like you. The internet has truly changed and will continue to change the world around us like never before in the last few thousand years. I hope it continues. I am 68 but I am not old of thinking. I look forward to seeing you soon! Enjoy your summer!
Thanks for my monthly visit to Russia.😍
I'm so happy you've started getting sponsorships. You make such amazing videos and you absolutely deserve them. InshaAllah you keep making such great and original content and grow as a RUclipsr and a person.
I love how the Tik-Tokers looked like wild animal behind a cage :p 😜
😂😂😂
Thank you. Loved the video from a while back of your parents home. Beautiful, good to see our Russian friends lives.
I love these videos showing people just casually living in Russia. Keep up the great work!
Thank you! I think the hair color works very well, but probably any color would look good on you since you are so pretty.
you are one of the most humble and down to earth youtuber that I like ! lol
I love your hair and your make up! The small line and light color in the corner of your eyes gives your face even greater shape than it already has
You are a courageous person to speak your mind on controversial issues so freely! You are a role model for young people all over the world.
Great vlog YR. The small fences near walking paths and urban forest are cool features of Khabarovsk.
A brilliant video! They just keep getting better and better :) Hope you survived the local gopniks and the driving test. Greetings from Scotland!
Hello Nat. Glad to see you doing well. I was one of your early subs, i remember when your channel started to blowup. Just wanted to send you some positive vibes from the Chesapeake Bay, I hadn't commented in a while. I noticed in this vid the RHCP dark necessities video on t.v. at your friends party 👍
Keep up the good work and as always thank you for giving us a glimpse into your life & life in your piece of Russia.
Stunning new hairstyle ! You're rocking that Cyberpunk 2077 look !!!
Being as young as you seem to be, the evolution of your vlogs show your interests growing along with us other conscious global citizens. Very inspiring.
Loving your videos Natasha, educational and enjoyable
"And right behind the eco-station I saw a vegetable market" where everything is sold in single use plastic bags. :(
Would be nice if they used paper bags or even reusable shopping nets like my grandmother used for buying produce.
Yes, such a paradox
Paper bags and shopping nets are worse to the environment due to the climate change. Also, who the hell throws thier plastic bags away after a single use! So wastefull, my babushka is very dissapointed
What does a vegetable market have to do about being green or environmentally friendly? It’s just a vegetable market.
Everyone should be able to be who they want & love who they want.
Nobody has a disadvantage from that, but people can live their life how they want.
Spread the love! 💜💙💚💛🧡❤
I saw Zacks' video too. It was good to see you help out.
Love the videos and learning about your culture. Thank you for sharing. Also, love the pink hair!
I love watching your videos, they give me the opportunity to learn a lot about about russian culture. Love listening to you.
Greetz from Germany
You are so humble and beautiful, and honest.. Amazing content!! Thank you, Natasha, for what you are doing :)
I’m so happy your channel is successful and that you are getting more serious about it!!!!!
Die beste östliche russische RUclipsrin die ganze Welt!:)
NFKRZ
I always love your insights and thoughts! Much love and friendship from Merritt Island, Florida!! I absolutely love your country! Люблю Флорида!!!!
Loving your focus on your content - great to see the daily grind
I loved “ the RUclips star” keep up the great work. How you present your country is incredible and entertaining
Thanks! Another cool vlog, more beautiful places and interesting experiences. Nice hair colour BTW. I liked the details and your insight about the current situation there. Thanks for sharing with us, till the next one, I wish you the best hoping that you'll get your driver's license. Have a great day!
I remember fidget spinners being all the rage a few years ago, but had never seen a Pop It, or whatever. After seeing this video I went shopping the next day and the darn things are nearly everywhere. I liked being blind and ignorant. LOL.
Same here
interesting and fresh so I subscribed, finally. Keep up the good work! Positivity attracts positivity. Thank you for your perspective on a wide range of topics. I do find the food slightly cheaper than here in eastern U.S.
People are the same everywhere.
From USA .... With your beauty, your accent and the different places you show us, it's a pleasure to watch your videos. Such a wonderful voice..❤... GOD bless you babe....
It's really cool that many Russians seem to take conservation so seriously.
uh? Natasha is no conservative im glad to say
@@martyjames6204 Not conservative! Conservation - as in the protection of the environment and Natural resources. Recycling is a form of conservation :)
Русские не такие любители экологии. Все жилые дворы и улицы загажены мусором и окурками
@@risotto4life577 this made me laugh..I got the mix-up that was made here right away tehehe
I remember the video where you showed us when you bought that T shirt... looks awesome!!! ♥
I just love it when Natasha drops her 'g's on "droppin' , "happinin' , "talkin' . . . It's soooo freaking adorable!
lol. I noticed that too. I think she's picked up some bad habits from her time in the U.S. I notice that she throws in a lot of "likes" and "supers" too. But hey, she's so genuine that it's like, super fine with me.
I’ve noticed other Russian RUclipsrs who speak English dropping their g’s as well! It’s probably because Russian doesn’t really have the “ng” sound like English.
@@jyh7777 yeah the "ng' phonetic is difficult for most non-native english speakers, my wife does the same thing. Natasha probably won't find it cute and will try to correct it, like my wife is trying to do, which would be a shame.
VERY adorable. But, in casual conversation, many Americans drop them, as well.
Upon noticing that, my thought was that she speaks DAMN good American English. It’s quite endearing and doesn’t sound at all…unsophisticated, shall we say. In fact, she makes it sound elegant. Regal, even.
Don’t change a thing, Natasha. Your English speaking skills are enviable. Better than mine, probably. And it’s my native language. 🤪
Just the opinion of an average American guy layin’ on the floor watchin” the latest “Yeah Russia” video.
@@jason-cq8ps agreed. I'm trying to learn Russian and I know that Natasha speaks far better English than I ever will speak Russian.
I like the way you present your videos. Looks like you're REALLY TRYING HARD! (to do your best!) KEEP IT UP, NATASHA!!!
@ 6:04 Yes, spinners became wildly popular in the U.S. several years ago. Then the colorful rubber pop-ups became popular. Schools often allow students to carry these items because it helps calm them down and re-directs their energy.
Your voice is so beautiful!
Yeah Natasha! Once again, an entertaining, funny, real, informative, intelligent and personal vlog. You really have a talent. ❤
I was going to post this on the last video but you just uploaded this one. You were talking about not knowing what you want to do with life. I Live in Georgia (US) and have been a paralegal for 5 years and still have no idea what I want to do in life. So don't sweat it, you have got a lot ahead of you. And I can't get over the Finding Nemo wallpaper throughout the whole room. I love it.
Thanks for the video, Natasha, great insight as always. The retro car is a Mitsouka Galue, a Japanese car company that makes retro-looking cars based from modern Nissan models.
Love your videos Nat! We are locked down hard here in Melbourne and wish we could travel again soon. Your videos allow us to get a glimpse of life in Russia where we would love to visit one day.
West Virginia - unique state.
I wish discrimination to disappear one day.
"Who's a star?!" "-Natasha's a star!!"
Yes the pop it things are in all the little shops here lately too, 🏴
I really enjoy your videos. I adore seeing new places, city scapes, people etc etc. Lovely light in much of this video. Russia has become a place I really must explore, all thanks to films like yours.. Many thanks fine lady.
"... a threat from..." *points vaguely at sky - eye roll*
yeah, we get it.
😂😂😂
God?
@@RoIIingStoned Uh, right. 🙊
Stay safe!
"My fathers girlfriend who is 30 something has the mindset that the meaning to be a woman is to give birth and be a mother." She's right, Big ups to your dad for having a gf with wisdom.
Thats interesting. I am studying Italian and live in NYC. I assumed once you mastered it like at your level another language was easy. But interesting to hear that even as gifted as you are need to "use it or lose it" There may be no hope for me here unless i move or join a club. Great video. You're the best!
Your very modest. Thank you for the video
Natasha has a good voice. that together with her intelligence makes the videos great. i cant believe ive watched like 10 of your videos already. i just came across this channel. takes me back to the days of nizhny novgorod .....
