riste is a Season 9 Challenger Garen main who dedicates his free time to pushing the limits of the champion further and further in high elo for Season 13. His educational content showcases high elo gameplay on the North America server. riste was able to reach 642LP Challenger in Season 9 with the old Garen, and he's looking to climb even higher with the newer Garen. He also is the only North American high elo Garen streamer to go live five days a week on Twitch.

one weakness i noticed on him is spacing. he needs to get a feeling for yoricks e range. he walked up way too close on low health in some situations because he probably felt safe at that distance, when yorick can hit e at that range. the same is true for other matchups like riven. spacing in everything in that one. if shes forced to use her q just to close the distance to you, she doesnt have any damage to hit you with once shes in your face. which means you always come out on top of a trade.

This guy is not very bad, he should just more often look at the map and learn his champ limits to play more aggressive + little bit of macro and he can easily get high elo

e shreds armor when you hit the enemy with enough spins. this amplifies the q damage. the combo is really situational and depends if you can get away with it. but if you get phase rush and stridebreaker, then e + q + tiamat is always better because you can go for a short trade and then zoom away with q + phase rush movement speed while the enemy is silenced. its the stuff that you want to do to darius for example since short trades are always better against him and he does not get his bleed stacked on you in time.
