Ooh, that “Crumble In Tower” was extremely frustrating for me to play. I’m happy to see that you were able to clear it!

So that first level was more of a proof of concept than a full blown level. I used the 1-tick set up with the Sky Wigglers like I did with a previous level and this was when I found out that you can somewhat glide in place while using the Ripcord powerup. Not doing that would suck you down to the flames below. There’s actually two timers in the level. One goes off after 15 seconds which causes more cannons to shoot out fire. It was a short bullet hell mini game. Thought about making a harder version where the cannons are shooting at a different enemy instead of the Canoodle. Maybe I’ll revisit that idea later.

Believe it or not though that was the second version of Blast and Furious. I had to nerf part of it because originally you had to make a huge jump after being blasted at full speed and it turned out to be a lot harder than I intended. Honestly though some of those skips I didn’t even know were possible. One thing that helped me lining shots up was to focus on the green part of the blasters as that gives you a more clearer picture of the trajectory. Due to the hectic nature and abundance of timed switches, placing a checkpoint in that stage would’ve just ruined the pacing and make the level impossible to finish. Stop, Drop and Pop was one of those stages that I just experimented with temporary switches and forcing players to do very specific shell surfing jumps. The start of the stage shows you that GR-18 cannot hit those switches due to an eye switch that spawns in the orange blocks if he gets too close.

    The last level was brutal!
